Scott Peterman is one half of the writing team of Cat Davis & Scott Peterman. Friends for 20 years and writing partners for the past three, Cat & Scott have already received acclaim for their scripts - Vietnam War vampire horror In Country, hour-long WWII fantasy drama Her Majesty's Wizards, and half-hour raunchy lesbian pregnancy sitcom (based on Cat's stand up routine) Unplanned. Their scripts have reached the finals or won awards in a number of competitions, including Screencraft, Nashville Film Festival, Nightmares, BarnStorm, Hollywood Horrorfest, CineMagic, Script Summit, StoryPros, Filmmatic and more.
Scott's career as a Creative and Show Director has always had deep focus on integrating narrative and technology. He writes and executes immersive experiences, live shows, and short films for brands (Nike, Turner), rock and roll bands (Smashing Pumpkins, Bon Jovi), and nonprofits (Robin Hood Foundation, Save the Children). His first job out of college was working on Grand Theft Auto, and he's been an active writer, coder and visual artist ever since. His work spans a variety of media and budgets - from working with directing partner Linda Strawberry and Billy Corgan to create a 31-song goth rock opera for Smashing Pumpkins' reunion tour to creating a NYC Fringe Festival winning play, the darkly comic commentary on violence, gender and media, Sailor Man.
