ShowBiz Direct has released the first trailer for Reagan, the biopic starring Dennis Quaid as Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States. If it feels like we’ve been hearing about this one for a while, it’s because we have; Reagan actually wrapped production almost four years ago.
The film follows Ronald Reagan from “his humble beginnings to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, and finally on to his biggest role as Commander in Chief set on the world stage… Told through the voice of Viktor Petrovich, a former Kgb agent whose life becomes inextricably linked with Ronald Reagan’s when Reagan first catches the Soviets’ attention as an actor in Hollywood, this film offers a perspective as unique as it is captivating.“
In addition to Dennis Quaid, Reagan stars Penelope Anne Miller as Nancy Reagan, Jon Voight as Viktor Petrovich, Mena Suvari as Jane Wyman, Kevin Dillon as Jack L. Warner,...

It’s monster night on Dancing with the Stars, but I can tell you what wasn’t the least bit freaky in this week 6 episode: that bitchen, skull mirror ball hanging over the ballroom! Also not scary: guest judge Niecy Nash-Betts without a pair of Spanx on her hips; the Emmy-nominated star of Netflix’s Dahmer – Monster (get the connection to Monster Night?) claimed that she made the frightening decision to forgo the Lycra before before dressing up as Jessica Rabbit.

Great American Family’s biggest time of the year is here. The network, run by former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott, is leaning in to the holiday season big time, after seeing a year of massive growth.
According to the year-over-year data, Gaf is up 150% in total viewers in 2023 compared to 2022, and the success can be credited to multiple factors, Abbott tells Variety.
“One of the biggest parts of our growth has been our talent, and the fact that we have such recognizable stars in our stable of talent — and that they are relentless in promoting Great American Family,” he says. “That, in and of itself, has created the awareness necessary to grow like we have.”
Candace Cameron Bure, Trevor Donovan, Jen Lilley, Danica McKellar and Jessica Lowndes all have exclusive deals with Gaf, while their Christmas movie lineup also includes Matthew Morrison, Chad Michael Murray, Lori Loughlin, Jill Wagner and James Tupper.

8/7c Where Are You, Christmas? (Hallmark)
What would happen if Christmas ceased to exist?
Well, in addition to the pretty enormous faith-based ramifications, the world would be a lot less colorful with a lot less joy.
Where Are You, Christmas paints the picture using the colorless world that we wouldn’t want to experience. This will be a Hallmark movie to remember!

The 2022 biopic Elvis got some things right. It also got a lot of things wrong, especially where the pop singer’s longtime manager “Colonel” Tom Parker is concerned.
According to pop culture reporters and the late manager’s biographer, several less-than-accurate details made it into the movie, including a false bit about Parker working at a carnival when he first met Elvis Presley.
Who was Elvis Presley’s manager, Tom Parker? Colonel Tom Parker and Elvis Presley | Gab Archive/Redferns
Born in the Netherlands in 1909, Andreas Cornelius Van Kuijk worked for a Dutch circus before emigrating to the U.S. There, the teenager, who lacked a passport, told authorities his name was “Thomas Andrew Parker.”
The newly-named Parker worked at a talent agency before revisiting Europe. In 1929, Parker returned stateside and toured with a carnival before joining the Army. Despite never becoming a U.S. citizen, he served two years at Fort Shafter in Hawaii.

The third film in the deal, “Just Jake” starring Brittany Bristow and Rob Mayes, is currently in post-production and is set to debut later this year. All three movies are directed by Clark and produced by Bird, Clark, Truesdell and Chavez. Additional films in the slate are currently in development.

Exclusive: Trevor Donovan, who recently made it to the semi-finals in Dancing With the Stars, has booked two more films for Great American Family.
The first one is a romantic comedy in which Donovan will star. Details of the film are being kept under wraps, but we can confirm the film features the 90210 actor as a teacher headed to his hometown in Texas … and maybe to a love he has searched for all of his life.
The movie planned for fall is also expected to showcase Donovan’s newly-acquired expertise on the dance floor during DWTS‘ 31st season: the flick is expected to include a choreographed dance sequence. Donovan’s role as a classroom teacher will also provide opportunities to showcase Gac’s collaboration with his real-life anti-bullying initiative, Upstanders, which is dedicated to creating a support system for students based on treating others with empathy, kindness, and respect.

The world of holiday programming continues to grow. While Hallmark Channel and Lifetime have seen major success with their “Countdown to Christmas” and “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” slates, respectively, Great American Family joined the discussion in 2021.
In June 2021, the network, originally tilted Great American Country (Gac), was acquired by Gac Media, a group formed by former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott and Hicks Equity Partners. In the fall of that year, the network was relaunched as Gac Family.
Under Gac Media, Great American Country changed to “Gac Family” and later to “Great American Family” — the title they have gone by since August 2022. The channel became similar in content to what Abbott had created at Hallmark, including original made-for-tv movies, holiday programming and big franchises. However, it also focuses more heavily on faith-driven programming.

90210 alum Trevor Donovan has responded to the latest controversy surrounding the Great American Family (Gaf) network and Candace Cameron Bure‘s comments about “traditional marriage.” The actor, who is under a long-term deal with Gaf, opened up about the divisive comments made by Bure to The Wall Street Journal, where she said the Christian faith-based network intended to “keep traditional marriage at the core” of its programming. “I feel people should be and believe what they want, as long as they are kind and accepting of others,” Donovan told Variety. “For those of you who have followed me since 90210, you know my heart and character. No matter who you love, no matter what your race or religion is, you matter.” Donovan, who recently competed on Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars, signed an overall deal with Great American Media in 2021, which will see him star in several of...

Trevor Donovan knows a thing or two about overcoming fears. He did just that by joining Season 31 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
“Dancing was pretty much my biggest fear. Though I still have some anxiety when it comes to dancing, my confidence has grown,” he says. “[I learned] that it’s okay to be afraid, but don’t let fear deter you from trying new things — like dancing. I also learned I’m a pretty good dancer.”
Now, in fact, he’s “open” to dancing again — maybe in a movie. While he began at the bottom of the leaderboard on the reality competition show, he quickly grew and at one point, became a new frontrunner. While he didn’t win the mirrorball, he surely earned the most improved dancer title, which he says means a lot.

“I am so torn and this season did not help me in terms of who has been in the bottom,” says Gold Derby contributor Cordell Martin, agonizing over who to predict to win the Mirror Ball Trophy on “Dancing with the Stars.” “Usually by now you can at least narrow it down to two couples, but the fact that we have three who have never been in the bottom – it can go so many different ways.” I previewed the upcoming season finale with Martin and fellow contributor Jeffrey Kare, and we’re all on the fence. In any other season, actors Trevor Donovan and Daniel Durant (Coda) would both likely be going to the finals next week but the level of talent in Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars was just too high to keep the two actors in the competition any longer. TV Insider spoke to the pair of semi-finalists and their pro partners about their DWTS journey after their eliminations were announced. “I’m so happy and proud of myself,” Durant said on the post-show press line. “I feel like we did it. Just seeing the dance floor getting smaller and smaller each week [showed me how far we went]. I’m so happy where we got to in the competition.” “I’m so proud of Daniel,” Britt Stewart, Durant’s pro dancer partner, adds. “I might be biased but I think he deserved to be in the finals — 100 percent! But it’s an accomplishment to get where we did.

Len Goodman dropped a bombshell during Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” semifinal: He’s retiring after Season 31 concludes next week. The announcement was as surprising to the pros as it was to fans.
“It got me in my feels, if I’m honest. It caught me off guard. I didn’t expect to feel as emotional as I was,” Emma Slater told Page Six after the show, during which she and Trevor Donovan were eliminated. The former champ has known Goodman since she was 10 when judged competitions in England. “I went to every competition that he judged and my parents were elated every time he was on the panel. I remember going up to him as a kid and thanking him for believing in me. Twenty years later, I did the same thing tonight … and I cried my eyes out again.”

(Spoiler Alert: This article reveals which two teams were sent home on Monday, Nov. 14)
On Monday’s semi-finales episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” the six remaining couples performed one ballroom dance and one Latin dance each, and at the end of the night two couples were sent home, with the remaining four headed to next week’s finale.
Both Charli D’Amelio and Gabby Windey earned perfect scores for their Viennese waltzes, but the judges gushed a bit more over Charli.
Carrie Ann Inaba called Charlie’s dance “perfection on top of perfection” and “beyond spectacular.” Len said it “literally took my breath away… no words of mine can sum up how good I thought that was.” Derek Hough told Charli she was “the first celebrity to really look like a ballroom dancer,” and Bruno said she had the grace of a prima ballerina. It’s semi-finals night on Dancing With The Stars! We have to wonder how many people have been watching along with us during the 31st season. Disney+ has yet to release any viewership numbers for the former ABC show, which isn’t an encouraging sign. And that’s too bad: DWTS under Executive Producer Conrad Green has once again found its glory, from inspirational participants like Selma Blair and Daniel Durant, to the refreshing way it has put the spotlight back on ballroom dancing.
Case in point: throughout the season, the judges have given us “master classes” on how to perform a perfect genre of ballroom dance. Monday, for example, featured Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach executing a flawless Viennese waltz while Derek Hough and Len Goodman provided insightful commentary. So that’s why we love this show so much! Thanks for the much-needed reminder, Mr. Green.
Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater.

The “Dancing with the Stars” season 31 contestants are dropping like flies. A double elimination on “90s Night” reduced the show from eight contestants to six, and another double elimination on Semifinals Night narrowed the field to the final four who will compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy in next week’s finale episode. So who survived the final cut and who fell just short of the finals? Follow our live blog below with all the minute-by-minute developments and commentary throughout the night.
To earn their spots in the finale, each celeb had to learn and perform two new dances. Actor and comedian Wayne Brady performed two very different routines: a paso doble and a Viennese waltz. TikTok star Charli D’Amelio also performed a Viennese waltz and a paso doble, perhaps so the judges and viewing audience would better be able to compare the season’s two front-runners against each other.

“90s Night” on “Dancing with the Stars” ended with the double elimination of “D’Amelio Show” star Heidi D’Amelio and “Jersey Shore” alum Vinny Guadagnino. That leaves us with six semifinalists, but there will be another double elimination tonight which will narrow the show down to its final four. So who will be the last to go home before the finale? “DWTS” fans have been placing their bets all week, and they’re pretty confident about the first celeb who will go home, but not so sure about the second.
Actor Trevor Donovan is the overwhelming favorite to be sent home with leading odds of 83/50. And that’s no slight against him as a contestant. He has steadily improved all season after starting with a phobia of the dance floor. But of the remaining six celebrities, he’s the only one who has been in the bottom two or bottom three before.

After weeks of “Dancing with the Stars” fans protesting the results of the weekly eliminations, it looks like the show is finally back on track going into the semifinals. On “90s Night,” “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino and “D’Amelio Show” star Heidi D’Amelio exited the competition in seventh and eighth place, respectively, and they were also the number-one and number-two dancers our readers thought should have been sent home. Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev are expectedly bummed about their elimination on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” especially because they were hoping for a more positive response from the judges.
“I poured my heart out there tonight and didn’t really get the reaction from the judges that I was expecting,” D’Amelio told Page Six after the show. “So I’m going to try not to let that shut me down again.”
D’Amelio and Chigvintsev were the first couple axed during the double elimination on ’90s Night. After two stints in the bottom two, they landed in the bottom three this time and were immediately eliminated with the lowest combined score and votes (Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki were the second pair to go after the judges unanimously saved Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater). D’Amelio and Chigvintsev earned a 35 for their contemporary number to Alanis Morissette‘s “Ironic,...

The “Dancing with the Stars” semifinal means double the routines and yet another double elimination. That’s what happens when you have a 16-person cast and only 10 weeks of competition.
The remaining six couples will tackle two individual dances on the first theme-less night of the season — get ready for lots of paso dobles and Viennese waltzes — before two couples get axed for the second consecutive week. That will send four couples to the finale on Nov. 21. “Dancing” has had four-team finales every season since the 27th installment in 2018.
See the full lineup below:
Wayne Brady and Witney Carson: paso doble (“Beggin’” by Måneskin); Viennese waltz (“It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown)
Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas: Viennese waltz (“Glimpse of Us” by Joji); paso doble (“Espana Cani” by Pascual Marquina)
Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater: cha-cha (“Satisfied” by Galantis feat.

Last night’s ejected duo on Dancing With the Stars didn’t have to leave the ballroom alone – that’s because two couples were sent packing in the double-elimination episode. First, Heidi D’Amelio (The D’Amelio Show) and pro partner Artem Chigvintsev were eliminated after receiving the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and audience votes. Then, faced with saving either Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater or Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki, the judges opted to end the journey for the Jersey Shore star. TV Insider was on the post-show red carpet to chat with the two sets of dancers who have completed their quest for mirror ball gold. “I had a blast,” D’Amelio said and did her best to sound upbeat even though she was clearly sad to be leaving the dance competition series. “It was great, a once in a lifetime experience. It was intense, fun, and crazy...

(Spoiler Alert: This article reveals which two teams were sent home on Monday, Nov. 7)
“This past weekend, we lost Aaron Carter,” cohost Tyra Banks said at the top of Monday’s night show, remembering the pop star and Season 9 contestant who was found dead on Saturday at age 34. “The team here at ‘Dancing With the Stars’ recalls the energy and the fun that he brought to his show, to this ballroom and we offer our sincere condolences to his family.”
The eight remaining couples danced to hits from the ’90s on Monday, with live performances from Salt-n-Pepa, En Vogue, Vanilla Ice, and Kid ‘N Play.
After their individual dances, there was a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard between Charli D’Amelio, Gabby Windey and Wayne Brady, while a bonus Relay Dance round left only Charli and Wayne tied for first.
Vinny Guadagnino and Koko Iwasaki were the second couple sent home on Nov.

It’s getting down to the end on “Dancing With the Stars,” as two pairs were sent home on Monday night.
For ’90s night, all of the duos performed to hit songs from the decade, with Wayne Brady, Charli D’Amelio and Gabby Windy all earning perfect scores.
One of the most powerful routines of the night was a jazz performance by Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart to Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence.” Everyone was emotional, including Derek Hough who choked back tears as he told the pair, “That was so insanely powerful. It made me realize how much I depend on the music. So to share that experience, that was impactful.”
Afterward, Stewart noted that it was a “profound moment” for her to be part of the partnership with Durant and dancing without music allowed them to connect even further. The routine earned the duo their first 10s, and...
