John Cena may have taken his catchphrase “You can’t see me” quite literally while taking the stage at the 2024 Oscars, as he decided to walk out naked to present the Best Costume Award. However, the actor has now come clean about his lifelong deception while promoting his new film, Ricky Stanicky. The WWE star confessed in a recent interview, asserting that he has been living a lie and people can actually see him.

Sean Evans has consumed approximately 3,000 chicken wings on camera as the host of “Hot Ones,” the viral series that subjects A-list actors, hip hop stars, comedians and other notable figures to unbearably spicy sauces in a traditional talk show format.
The show, produced by Complex’s First We Feast label, has become a go-to on the celebrity promotional circuit – as mandatory and beneficial as a ride in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. Thursday marks the series’ 300th episode (it features comic John Mulaney challenging his gastrointestinal fortitude) and represents a milestone for a digital project with cable access amenities and a game show hook.

50 Cent became one of the world’s most popular rappers after signing under Eminem’s and Dr. Dre’s record label. But the music mogul was once advised that being associated with the 8 Mile star would be detrimental to his career.

On May 2, 1970, British illustrator Ralph Steadman went to the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, Kentucky, to meet a writer named Hunter S. Thompson. The result was the groundbreaking article “The Kentucky Derby Is Decadent and Depraved,” in Scanlan’s Monthly, that created “gonzo journalism,” and its visual aesthetic thanks to Steadman’s surreal artwork. It was the start of a long relationship between the two men that produced countless iconic images over the years, including the cover of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Both visionaries produced major works in Rolling Stone.

This week marks 20 years of Get Rich or Die Tryin’, 50 Cent’s star-making opus that rode a bevy of hits, an Eminem co-sign, and Dr. Dre’s talismanic touch to sell 12 million records worldwide in 2003. 50’s mesh of New York bravado and melody catapulted him to instant superstardom, with “In Da Club” dominating the radio and “Many Men” feeding the streets.
Many rap fans make the mistake of attributing hip-hop’s push toward melody to a sole artist, be it Ye, Lil Wayne, Future, or Drake. But the shift...

To fully re-create the events that led to his near-fatal 2000 shooting, 50 Cent posted the official music video for his highly personal single "9 Shots" this weekend. It's two doses of grisly. It's also a true trip down memory lane because the short film, directed by Eif Rivera, co-stars O.G. G-Unit members Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. (#Tbt.) Like the song, everything about the video is old 50, which is proving to be a welcome theme.

Austin, Texas — The rumors were true: Eminem joined 50 Cent to recreate "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" Friday night at South By Southwest.
It was a throwback to the heyday of gangster rap at the music conference and festival as 50 Cent hit the stage at the Shady Records showcase in a camouflage bullet-proof vest and a Yankees cap as clouds of chronic floated through the air. With a seven-piece band and Mc Tony Yayo at this side, he laid down the 16 game-changing tracks from "Get Rich," performing the entire album live for the first time.
"It's been a minute," he told the crowd of about 2,000 at the Austin Music Hall and an audience watching via Fuse and YouTube. "It's been 10 years. That album sold 13 million copies. Damn."
The album came out in February 2003, with Eminem and Dr. Dre serving as executive producers and featured rappers.

On Wednesday, Dexter Isaac told AllHipHop.com that he had a role in the 1994 robbery and shooting of Tupac Shakur and he alleged that Henchman paid him $2,500 to do the deed. Now, on Thursday (June 16), the Smoking Gun reported that two men tied to Rosemond have been charged with the 2009 murder of Lowell "Lodi Mack" Fletcher, a known G-Unit associate.

Czar Entertainment boss Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, who manages the careers of the Game and Sean Kingston, among others, was reportedly on the run on Tuesday (May 17) after federal authorities issued an arrest warrant for him in connection with a drug case.
The New York Post reported that the warrant was issued last week after the feds indicted Rosemond for his alleged involvement in a cocaine distribution ring. At press time, the paper said Rosemond had not yet been found and that an unnamed law enforcement source confirmed that there was a fugitive warrant out for the hip-hop mogul.
Just hours after the story broke, Rosemond's lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, told MTV News that he had not seen the arrest warrant or indictment but that he was aware of the case.

Way back in 2003, an action thriller came out called "S.W.A.T.," starring Colin Farrell, Sam Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Michele Rodriguez and LL Cool J. The film was based on a 1970's television series about a group of elite cops taking on the bad guys, and the movie was more or less a fun ride. Now come March 1, we'll get "S.W.A.T.: Firefight," a DVD flick which also draws its inspiration from the TV show.
This time the stars are Gabriel "The Spirit" Macht, Robert "Terminator 2" Patrick, Kristanna "Terminator 3" Loken and, making his film debut, rap star Tony Yayo. One of the things that may have spurred a judge to send T.I. back to prison this week was the allegation that the King of the South was riding with a convicted felon on the night the rapper's car was pulled over in Los Angeles in September.
Along with testing positive for opiates — a no-no under the provisions of Tip's probation on a 2007 federal weapons charge — as a felon himself, the Atlanta Mc was not allowed to associate with known felons.
That got us wondering about whether probationary conditions could restrict some potential post-prison musical collaborations for T.I. (born Clifford Harris).

Though it's still too early to make predictions, I Am Not a Human Being remains the top-selling album on iTunes and should make in impression in next week's album chart. That's a pretty remarkable feat considering that the artist is currently incarcerated. It's a testament to how devoted Weezy's fan base is (though his blogs and phone calls from jail haven't hurt).
But considering it's only available as a digital release at the moment (the physical album hits brick-and-mortar store shelves on October 12), it will probably be an uphill battle to the top of the chart. Should Wayne figure out a way to the pinnacle of the Billboard 200, he would join Tupac as the only artists who topped the album chart while incarcerated. Tupac's 1995 smash...

It has been quite a week here in the MTV Newsroom. We watched Lindsay and Paris in court, sat down with Tony Yayo for a heart-to-heart, argued about the new judges on "American Idol," watched a ton of television and watched a classic indie rock band in the middle of a crazy-ass lightning storm. All that activity has left us sort of run down, which is why it's time to hop into the hot tub and enjoy a little leisure time. You should do the same, but not before you take a stroll through the links below to catch up with anything you might have missed this week.
» "American Idol" has two new judges in Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, who join Randy Jackson as the show's new adjudication trio.
» While people do seem enthusiastic about the new judges, it appears nobody will ever top the show's original three-way of Simon Cowell,...

Queens Mc Tony Yayo may have an eye for spotting hometown talent. Before Nicki Minaj joined the ranks of Young Money and was still making a name for herself on the underground circuit, Yayo heard some of the fledgling femcee's bars and was impressed enough to jump on a track with her. The G-Unit soldier broke down their near-collaboration during his "RapFix Live" interview Thursday.
"She was out there and she was messing with this guy named Fendi. I was trying to do a record with her, but Fendi was like, 'For what? Why you wanna do something with her?' Then I left it alone. This was a long, long time ago when I was seeing her on the 'Come Up' DVDs,...

Tony Yayo wants to make it clear how the beef between 50 Cent and Fat Joe spills over to the rest of the G-Unit crew: "I didn't have a problem with Fat Joe; 50 did," Yayo explained Thursday (September 23) on "RapFix Live." "So now it's my problem."
Fat Joe and 50 Cent have been trading barbs in rhyme and during interviews for years now. When the Terror Squad lyricist appeared on "RapFix Live" last month, he said there's little chance the dispute with Fif could end peacefully. "The day 50 Cent want to lock up with me in a bathroom and do this like men, we can hug each other and keep it moving the day after that,...

When you put the hottest lyricists in the game on a couch across from MTV News' Sway and get them to answer questions dreamed up by fans at home, anything can happen.
On "RapFix Live," lyricists MCs announced record deals, busted out freestyles with Travis Barker and opened up about Twitter drama. So, a live, unedited fan-driven webcast with one of the pillars of the rowdy Gorilla Unit is sure to deliver a few "did that just really happen?" moments.
Queens spitter Tony Yayo will drop by 1515 for this week's show, which kicks off Thursday at a spankin' new time, 4 p.m. Et. We're cooking up some questions but we have no idea what nuggets of knowledge Yayo will drop. Will he unveil Lil B as the newest addition to the Unit?...

Jay-z performs at Yankee Stadium on Monday

New York — Like a good cleanup man in baseball, Jay-z delivers big hits on a consistent basis.
On Tuesday night (September 14) at Yankee Stadium, the Brooklyn rapper closed out the fourth of his and Eminem's Home and Home shows (two in Detroit, two in the Bronx) with a performance that would make A-Rod envious.
"Break a record in this bitch, Hov," he rapped during a freestyle right after the opening number, the intro to his The Dynasty: Roc La Familia album. "Hit them with that Balco."
The Roc Nation head, however, wouldn't need any performance-enhancing substances to give him an extra boost on this night. He confidently cruised through 90 minutes of material; Jay-z was just as cool as the fall night.

Welcome back to Tri-State Stadium Status 50 Cent. The leader of the G-Unit hasn't been seen in a major stadium in his hometown area since Hot 97's 2004 Summer Jam at Giants Stadium, where he was involved in the infamous chair-throwing incident with some rivals from Queens.
For years, fans have missed Fif and the Unit at the annual mega-concert. Well, last night, the Unit returned in their entirety during Eminem and Jay-z's Home and Home concert at Yankee Stadium. 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo appeared onstage together during the first of two stadium shows on two consecutive nights. Although later in the night, Drake and Jay-z performed "Light Up," it was the collective from Queens who literally lit up onstage, not just with "I Get Money," "In Da Club" and "Beamer,...

Unless 50 Cent changes his mind, we're all safe until about ... the day after the 2010 VMAs. 50 — who has made quite an impact on Twitter in recent weeks with his outlandish posts — says he's taking a break from social networking until Monday, the day after the big show.
When we spoke to him in Detroit last week as he, along with his G-Unit soldiers Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, joined Eminem and Jay-z's Home and Home concerts at Comerica Park, Fif explained to MTV News the reason for his tweeting hiatus.
"I just had to give it a break because I had to go back to writing. Writing my record," he said. "Concentrate on the music, picking the right things."

Detroit — You didn't think they were going to have two of the biggest hip-hop shows in the past decade without inviting 50 Cent to join in, did you? Fif and the Unit have been Eminem's special guests for the Home and Home shows, co-headlined by Jay-z.
The Detroit run started Thursday night at Detroit's Comerica Park and concluded Friday (September 3). Sitting down with MTV News before the second show, 50, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo expressed their excitement to be a part of the historic event. On Thursday, the Unit performed "Patiently Waiting," "I Get Money" and "In Da Club." And by the following morning, footage and photos from the show circulated on various websites. Lloyd Banks never has a problem of getting any woman he wants and he shows it off in a music video for his new single "Any Girl". Beside featuring his featured guest Lloyd, the clip also has brief appearances from fellow G-Unit members 50 Cent and Tony Yayo.
"Any Girl" is one of the singles appearing in Banks' forthcoming third studio album "H.F.M. 2 (The Hunger for More 2)". Banks and Lloyd have no hesitation at all when hooking up in the song. Banks insisted they "never had direct issues" although there is a rivalry between G-Unit where Banks is signed to and Lloyd's former label Murder Inc.
"H.F.M. 2" is due November 23 in United States and will be his first release under Emi. "It's refreshing to see the Emi staff excited about my project, they have the passion and energy I haven't seen in a while," he said of joining the giant recording company.
