Bill Murray is having one helluva sports year.
The actor was seen proudly cheering and celebrating 11-seed Xavier University’s victory over 2-seed University of Arizona during Thursday’s Ncaa tournament matchup at Sap Center in San Jose, California.
And Murray, whose son is an assistant coach for Xavier’s basketball team, had the best time at the game.
He made “X” gestures by crossing his arms to show his support for the Musketeers, and even rubbed the head of Sister Rose Ann Fleming, the 77-year-old nun who makes sure all of Xavier’s student-athletes live up to the University’s academic standards.

A Florida man claims he killed his neighbor in self-defense, threw the victim's body in his truck and drove to his lawyer's office because he didn't know who else to trust. John Marshall, 52, told attorney Robert Harris that he fatally shot 65-year-old Theodore Hubbell Jr. in self-defense after the two got into an argument Wednesday, Wzvn-tv reports. Marshall then put his neighbor's body in the pickup bed of his truck and drove straight to Harris's office. "Once I learned of the facts, I called 911," Harris told the TV network. Marshall claims that Hubbell tried to kill him first, his lawyer also said.

Though American independence is obviously commemorated on the Fourth of July, a very significant symbolic event happened several days after the Second Continental Congress signed their names to the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On this day in 1776, Colonel John Nixon sounded the Liberty Bell, which called together citizens of Philadelphia for the first public reading of that historic document (which had just been returned from the printers). The bell, which at the time was housed in the tower of the Pennsylvania State House (which came to be known as Independence Hall), bore the inscription "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land unto All the Inhabitants Thereof."
The bell was originally cast in 1751 to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of Pennsylvania's constitution. It was used regularly to summon locals for important announcements and celebrations (up until 1776, the most notorious ringing of the Liberty Bell was in 1765, when it was rung to...
