Linda Reitman opened the doors to Linda Reitman Management [us] over
twenty years ago. She represents professional actors, writers,
producers, music artists, comedians and directors.
Her previous experience includes working as an Associate to agent Walter Kohner, of Paul Kohner, Inc. At the time, the legendary agency represented such luminaries as writer/directors John Huston and Ingmar Bergman and actors Holly Hunter, Klaus Kinski and Anjelica Huston, among others.
Previously, Ms. Reitman worked as a publicist, specializing in Entertainment clients. Additionally, she is a published writer whose articles and reviews have appeared in dozens of magazines and newspapers worldwide. She has also written liner notes, concert notes, press releases and biographies for record companies, management and public relations firms.
As producer at a world-renown music venue for several years, she brought in an eclectic array of well-known artists including, Kenny G, Dizzy Gillespie, Najee , B.B. King, Tito Puente, BeBe Winans and CeCe Winans, comedian Paul Rodriguez, and many others. She not only negotiated their fees and contracts, but she handled publicity and advertising with radio stations and newspapers as well.
Ms. Reitman rounded out her Industry experience assisting the Vice President of Business Affairs at a major motion picture acquisition and distribution company, where she worked extensively with contracts.
Several years ago, she produced "A Tribute to Blue Mitchell," her first professional credit, at the Musician's Union, in Hollywood - where music legends Al Jarreau, Sarah Vaughan, Horace Silver, George Shearing, Buddy Collette, Chick Corea, and many other talented musicians performed - which raised over $10,000.00 for the late trumpeter's widow.
More recently, she produced "Starfire," with its writer, client Sam Ingraffia. This highly-acclaimed theater production ran for four months to sold-out audiences and starred her clients Vanessa Marcil and Tyler Christopher, with Brian Austin Green and Art LaFleur.
Her clients have included: Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives (2004)), Vanessa Marcil (Las Vegas (2003) / The Rock (1996)), Tony Todd (The Rock (1996) /Candyman (1992)), Tyler Christopher (General Hospital (1972)), Persis Khambatta (Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)) and award-winning Broadway actress/vocalist Eloise Laws, with the Laws Family, also including, Ronnie Laws, Hubert Laws, Debra Laws and Jaman Laws, among others.
Ms. Reitman feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work within many of the varied aspects of the Entertainment Industry.
