Spoiler Alert! This article contains spoilers from The Boys Season 4
As a team, The Boys are responsible for finding as much dirt on supes as possible, as a way to keep them in line so that they do not indulge in the powers given to them by Vought. Portraying heroes as an intersection between athletes and celebrities (with earth-shattering powers), The Boys have a very important job in their hands. However, it seems that lately, this job is better done by a super himself than The Boys, as pointed out by a Reddit post.

A wait of two years finally came to an end as The Boys followed up its epic last season with the fourth installment. The first batch of three episodes dropped on June 13 and carried several surprises. However, arguably the biggest of the bunch came in the form of new characters of whom Susan Heyward’s Sister Sage shot up to the limelight. The latest addition boasts a character arc that will now have wide-reaching consequences for the show’s future.
Homelander and Sister Sage along with the rest of the Seven in The Boys Season 4 | Amazon Prime Video
On one end, the character’s manipulative tactics and her prime position on the Supes’ hierarchy make up for some of the most riveting scenes in the upcoming episodes, as per showrunner Eric Kripke. However, on the other end, a real-world divide has emerged within the fan base for reasons completely unrelated to the canon.

Four seasons in, Amazon Prime’s “The Boys” has gone to some truly wild places — from its stylized hyperviolence to last season’s musical number. Based on the comic book from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, about the titular gang looking to bring down Vought Industries and the selfish superheroes who are revered, the newest season somehow manages to one up itself yet again.
Case in point: In Season 4’s premiere Antony Starr’s terrifying Homelander orders Chace Crawford’s The Deep to give A-Train (Jesse Usher) a blow job. With a shocked look, The Deep goes over, kneels down and says “Sex is just a spectrum. Right, bro?”
Over Zoom, Crawford recalled filming that scene. “[Showrunner Eric] Kripke was directing that episode, so we got a great half day on that scene because there’s a lot of movement,” Crawford told IndieWire with a laugh. “It was so funny the...

I guess calling fan culture toxic is an understatement. It sounds like an arrangement where you give someone the power to ruin your day, and the person concerned doesn’t even know whether you exist or not. Todd, who was introduced in the third season of The Boys, was portrayed as some kind of conspiracy theorist, a sort of basement dweller from the troll army. So Todd became a huge fan of Homelander because he found him cool. Yes, that’s enough to worship someone these days. Our generation is not very fond of words like: right or wrong, law, and ethics. We’ll take humanity forward with coolness. So when we first met Todd, he was dating Mm’s (Mother’s Milk) ex-wife, Monique. Unlike Mm, Todd actually had time for her daughter, Janine, because of which she grew extremely fond of him. So, I am not saying Todd was a bad person.

The Boys Season 4, episode 2, was largely centered around the unraveling of the titular group at the Truthcon festival. Mm and Butcher fell out because of the latter’s erratic behavior, which was a side effect of the worms crawling in his head thanks to his overuse of the Temp V. But when Mm, Kimiko, and Frenchie were overwhelmed by Splinter and Firecracker, Butcher ended up saving them. Was it enough to get him into Mm’s good books? No, and Butcher was forced to leave the team and go on his solo mission of saving Ryan from the clutches of Homelander. Talking about Homelander, he scarred Ryan for life by making him kill a guy who was just doing his job of making Ryan look cool, and then he reprimanded Ryan for not being okay with a “few broken eggs.” The third episode of The Boys Season 4 is about the rivalry between Firecracker and Annie.

The first episode of The Boys Season 4 introduced us to the main conflicts of the latest round of the battle between the supes and the anti-supes. Homelander gained some popularity by killing a man in broad daylight, but that led to a criminal case being filed against him and an exodus of investors from Vought. So, in order to take care of these issues, Homelander forged a bond with Victoria Neuman and brought in Sister Sage to tarnish Starlight’s name so that he looked better in comparison. The gamble sort of paid off, but it did lead to Todd’s death. Apart from that, Hughie learned that his father had suffered a massive stroke, which led to the return of Hughie’s estranged mother, Daphne. Frenchie, Colin, and Kimiko entered into some kind of love triangle. And it was revealed that Butcher’s health had deteriorated to the point...

The All-Time Best Moments From The Boys - Main Image
Ever since its release, The Boys has delivered jaw-dropping moments. From exploding heads to crashing planes, this show has provided us with some of the most gruesome scenes.
Luckily, the fourth season is just around the corner, so the violence and drama will not stop anytime soon.
To celebrate the new season, let's have a look at 8 of the show’s best and wildest moments.
Popclaw’s Skull Crushing Orgasm
The Boys does a wonderful job of mixing gore with sex, but it gets a little weird sometimes. We’ve seen our fair share of crazy moments in The Boys, but this had to be one of the craziest. In season 1, Popclaw is introduced, a superhero with retractable claws and super strength. The crazy part is what happens in episode 3.
High on Compound-v, Popclaw initiates oral sex with her landlord.

Fans have been waiting to see some more footage from Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus since the release of the chilling first teaser, and we now have an update on the full trailer for the iconic sci-fi horror franchise's return to the big screen.
There was some talk of the new trailer landing today, but according to insider Daniel Richtman, it will be with us tomorrow, Tuesday the 4th.
In addition, Empire has shared a new official still featuring Cailee Spaeny as Rain Carradine and David Jonsson as her android foster brother, Andy.
Synthetics (or artificial persons if you'd rather not offend Bishop) have been a staple of the Alien franchise since the beginning, but it sounds like Romulus will introduce a human/android dynamic we haven't seen before.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the latest member of the "Supernatural" cast to join showrunner Eric Kripke's most recent creation: the filthy, irreverent superhero satire series "The Boys." Morgan played John Winchester, father of the demon-hunting Winchester brothers (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) in "Supernatural," and in "The Boys" season 4 he'll be introduced as CIA analyst Joe Kessler. There's a possibility he could even be reunited with his on-screen son, since Ackles also joined the world of "The Boys" last season as a very special boy: Soldier Boy.
This was Ackles' first time suiting up on camera as a superhero, which is actually pretty surprising given that his 15-season tenure on "Supernatural" saw him in a variety of disguises. Soldier Boy is currently taking a cryogenic nap, but after season 3 ended, Kripke told Entertainment Weekly, "I can't imagine the series ending without Soldier Boy making another appearance." Ackles himself is...

The Despicable Me movies always do very well at the box office (even if the reviews haven't remained quite as positive), so it came as no surprise that a fourth instalment in Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment's animated franchise was on the way, and a new trailer and poster have now been released.
Though Gru will appear, the Minions have really become the main focus of these movies, and there's plenty of fun to be had with the little yellow fellas in this latest teaser, which sees several "volunteers" transformed into super-powered Mega-Minions.
One gains stretchy abilities like Mr. Fantastic, another is a clear not to The Thing, and there's also a Minion with Cyclops-like optic blasts.
Check out the new trailer and poster below, and let us know if you plan on catching this one on the big screen.

More than 250 recording artists have signed a letter to the Senate Committee on Commerce in support of a bill advocating for ticket sale transparency and consumer protections against bots.
Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews, Cyndi Lauper, Lorde, Sia, Train, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Graham Nash, Becky G, and Chappell Roan are among the prominent signees urging Congress to pass the Fans First Act (S. 3457). The bill, introduced by Senators Cornyn, Klobuchar, Blackburn, Welch, Wicker, and Lujan, and the bipartisan Ticket Act (H.R. 3950), sponsored by Reps. Bilirakis, Schakowsky, and Armstrong, which passed out of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, address the live event ticketing system. The letter claims current practices leave fans and artists alike exposed to the predatory practices of bad actors within the secondary ticketing market.

For lovers of the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V is a good addition to it.
From incredibly awful characters to blood, superpowers, and the phallus, the show is a good representation of the absolute chaos of the universe.
Gen V Season 1 Episode 1 introduced a new generation of supes -- a very aware generation.
The most significant distinction drawn between these supes and ones from The Boys was that the new generation was aware of their powers' origin, and that made all the difference.
However, before that news got out, most people were unaware of what was happening, and the cold open introduced one such person.
Supes had taken over the world, and seeing the first Black man to join The Seven was a glimmer of hope for Marie's parents.

One of the many oddities of "The Boys" is the way that any character, no matter how terrible, suddenly transforms into an audience surrogate the moment they're trapped in the room with Homelander. A-Train is a selfish, murdering jerk, for instance, but it's hard not to relate to him as Homelander starts making fun of his weight and there's nothing A-Train can do about it. Ashley is a power-hungry corporate stooge, but when she develops a hair-yanking habit from the sheer stress of working with Homelander, we have no trouble understanding why. When Homelander shatters the ear-drums of an innocent, Daredevil-inspired supe, Ashley's horrified expression perfectly matches how we feel.

In the latest issue of Fangoria Magazine, The Last Voyage of the Demeter director André Øvredal explains that he wanted his version of Dracula to be “the most horrific, frightening depiction of Dracula that has ever been seen on screen.” He continues, “To do that, we needed a performer who could be agile and do these things that are superhuman.”

It’s a hot summer day, the car AC is on turbo and the radio is blasting Miguel’s “Sure Thing.” My 8-year-old nephew is singing along happily — until I tell him the song is older than he is.
He’s extremely puzzled. But it’s true.
“Sure Thing” was released in 2010 and was named Billboard’s No. 1 R&b/hip-hop song of 2011. But TikTok resurrected the melodic track this year, and the platform thrust it to higher heights on the pop charts, as streaming platforms added it to current playlists and radio stations began replaying the song 13 years after its release.
Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer” was released in 2019, but the addictive bop became a favorite on her ultra-popular Eras Tour, and now it’s in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Sia, thanks to TikTok, relaunched a platinum hit with “Unstoppable” late last year, though it was released...

Don’t let the title “The Boys” fool you — Amazon Prime Video’s comic-book series also has girls! In fact, there are six female actors submitted for the 2023 Emmys for Season 3, which streamed last summer and is now eligible at the upcoming ceremony. The Emmy ballots were officially unveiled on the Television Academy’s website on June 15, the same day nominations-round voting began (it will conclude on June 26 at 10:00 p.m.).
Submitted in the category of Best Drama Actress are Erin Moriarty as Annie January/Starlight and Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko. Season 3 was impactful for both of these fan-fave characters, as the lead actresses revealed in our recent video chats. Starlight wound up quitting the superhero team known as The Seven after some decisions people “deemed amoral,” Moriarty explained. And Kimiko dreamt up a “brilliant” musical number set to the Gershwin hit “I Got Rhythm,” Fukuhara recalled.

The Rolling Stones were one of the biggest bands in the world by the end of the 1960s. They had several No. 1 hits in that decade and added a few more in the 1970s. Musicians looking to find an audience with a solid tune could do a lot worse than play their songs. That was probably Johnny Winter’s mindset when he more or less stole The Rolling Stones’ song “Silver Train” in 1973.
(l-r) Rolling Stones members Charlie Watts, Mick Taylor, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Bill Wyman; Johnny Winter | Bettmann/Contributor; Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images Johnny Winter basically stole The Rolling Stones’ song ‘Silver Train’ and released it first
Keith Richards and Mick Jagger wrote “Silver Train” years before they recorded it. They brought it to the Sticky Fingers sessions, produced a demo with the band, and then put it back in the vault.
Winter somehow heard that demo.

Dracula is back on the big screen in Universal’s horror-comedy Renfield, and we won’t have to wait long to see Dracula’s next bloody adventure. Universal’s The Last Voyage of the Demeter is bringing Dracula back to theaters yet again on August 11, 2023, and today the film’s official MPA rating has been revealed. Like Renfield, this one is also rated “R”.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter is rated “R” for “bloody violence.”
Based on Bram Stoker’s classic horror novel, the horror movie will tell a unique Dracula story on the high seas, and the trailer (below) gave us our first look at this film’s incarnation of the iconic blood-sucker. Unlike many adaptations that depict Dracula as a human being, it seems The Last Voyage of the Demeter is leaning into Dracula being a full-on bat monster.

Eight years after the project was first announced, writer/director Robert Eggers‘ remake of F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent classic Nosferatu (watch it Here) is finally in production, with filming taking place in Prague. With the start of production comes the launching of a website, which you can check out at This Link – and which is currently quite low on content. But the website does include some information we haven’t covered here before: Eggers’ The Witch star Ralph Ineson and Simon McBurney are both in the cast!
McBurney has over 60 screen acting credits to his name, stretching back to the 1980s. In recent years he had roles in Carnival Row, The Pale Blue Eye, The Conjuring 2, and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (pictured below).
