Dasha L Anderson has over 20 years of expertise in martial artist initially, a B.A. in creative writing and a Master's Degree in Exercise Science. Early in her career she was an expert contributor to publications like Women's Health, Self, Shape, Blackbelt Magazine and Epoch Times. She has also worked with brands like Nike, American Express, Under Armor and many others.
Dasha entered the film world by working with many notable actors to get them screen ready for their action roles.
Dasha's career trajectory began to shift when she had the opportunity to work with notable figures like Ang Lee and on projects such as "Woman King."
Having transitioned into storytelling, Dasha wrote and produced the short film "Prompt" in 2003, starring Dan Fogler and directed by her partner, Dan Anderson. She has since authored various screenplays and pilots, several of which are in the development pipeline.
Dasha and Dan founded the action and story design production company Violent Designs.
Dasha's storytelling passion is evident in her focus on highbrow action and drama, where she combines striking visuals, intricate narratives, and beautiful action into unique story. Presently, she both collaborates with renowned directors on script development for their projects and writes and develops her own screenplays.
