Save the Children's annual Winter Gala returned last week with guests spotted walking along the Yellow Brick Road into the Emerald City at London’s Guildhall for a Wonderful Wizard of Oz-themed night of festivities.
The gala was hosted by radio and TV presenter Lauren Laverne and attended by more than 270 guests including Save the Children supporters and ambassadors such as Poppy Delevingne, Dom Joly, Misan Harriman, Erin O’Connor, Ashley Jensen and DJ Cuppy. The night raised more than £700,000 for the charity through sponsorship, table sales, pledges, and the sale of some truly unique silent auction items, including a signed guitar from Ed Sheeran.
As attendees arrived, they walked through Dorothy’s upside-down house and into ‘Munchkinland’ in the crypts of the Guildhall for a drink’s reception, before following the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City of the Great Hall for the evening’s fundraising and entertainment.

Naomi Campbell's modelling competition The Face has been axed by Sky Living after one series.
The show follows three supermodel coaches competing with one another to find the face of a major brand. Campbell was joined by fellow judges Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg on the sole UK series.
"The Face was a brilliant show, which I am very proud of but as is sometimes the case we have to make difficult decisions and so it is with regret that I confirm it won't be returning for a second series," said Director of Sky Living Antonia Hurford-Jones.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Naomi and all those involved in making the show, and assure Sky Living customers I remain committed to bringing them the very best in new Us and UK entertainment."
Producers of the show Shine Group added: "We are incredibly proud of the UK production...

'The Face' has been axed by Sky Living after one series. Naomi Campbell's modelling competition will not return for a second run due to poor ratings and a high budget. 'The Face', which also stars supermodels Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg, launched to a lowly 132,000 viewers last September and Sky bosses aren't willing to fund another series of the expensive reality show. An insider told The Sun newspaper: ''Sky Living is spending the money on new dramas and comedies instead.'' Naomi, 44, had high hopes her show - which features three models mentoring teams of aspiring wannabes - would be a huge hit...

Emma Holmes has been announced as the winner of The Face.
The 18-year-old contestant - who was mentored by supermodel Naomi Campbell in the show - fought off competition from three other finalists in last night's (November 18) finale.
Campbell - who beat fellow models Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg to be the winning mentor - said that Holmes is "uniquely beautiful".
She commented: "I am so proud of my Emma! Not only is she uniquely beautiful, she's also bright, and I think you will have seen how much she developed throughout the series.
"Becoming the face of Max Factor is an amazing jumpstart to what can be a very successful career for her. I had a fun time mentoring her (sometimes more fun than others!) and know we'll stay in touch."
The final four models were challenged to take part in a photoshoot and film a commercial for Max Factor.

Teen star Lindsay Lohan strode past protestors at the opening of the first American De Beers store on Wednesday, declaring she wouldn't get involved in any of their "drama". The Herbie: Fully Loaded actress, 18, joined fellow stars Teri Hatcher and Vanessa Carlton to party at the diamond jewelers' bash on New York City's Fifth Avenue, despite the shouts of angry protestors. Representatives from advocacy group Survival International, who claim De Beers' diamond mining in Botswana has led to the evictions of Gana and Gwi bushmen, shouted "shame on you" and "cultural genocide" as celebrities arrived for the launch. Former De Beers spokesmodels Erin O'Connor and Iman reportedly stepped down from their roles after the bushmen allegations first surfaced. When asked by reporters when she thought about the bushmen controversy, Lohan replied, "I don't get involved in any drama."...
