British royal family news divulges that Clown Prince Harry was so distraught after King Charles took away one of his military roles and gave it to his competition, Prince William, that he cried.
The New York Post reported that last week Buckingham Palace announced that William is the new colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps, even though runaway Harry served with the unit in Afghanistan.
“The announcement appeared timed to inflict maximum pain on Harry, coming on the same day that he returned to London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.”
Royal Family News – Prince Harry’s Loss
After the Buckingham Palace announcement, royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror that it was “a real kick in the teeth for the son who always felt marginalized and underrated.
He is said to have been in tears when he heard.” Or maybe he was just chopping onions for the rescue chickens?...

Andrew Garfield’s arc as Peter Parker in his The Amazing Spider-Man film series may have come to an abrupt end when fans were expecting more, but it still lives in their hearts nonetheless. This became apparent recently when Marvel fans jumped in the picture to remind everyone of his web-slinger saga by Marc Webbs after the shooting of the stunt scenes faced some criticism.
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker in his own superhero film series.
This critical approach came from Jon Watts, the helmer of all three of Tom Holland’s movies as Parker, who recently shared some pretty bold advice for the next Spider-Man director regarding the slinging stunt scenes. But instead of gaining appreciation from fans for it, Watts instead faced criticism, with fans reminding him of how Garfield managed to pull those stunts off for his saga.

First up under the deal is distribution support for Cineverse (and its horror division Bloody Disgusting) for upcoming Terrifier 3, the third installment in the worldwide cult horror phenomenon featuring Art the Clown.
Micro-budget Terrifier 2 released in the fall of 2022 grossed more than $15 million in worldwide box office. The production companies behind the film, Dark Age Cinema and The Coven, re-teamed with filmmaker Damien Leone (and David Howard Thornton as Art the Clow) for Terrifier 3, which wrapped production in New York last month and is set for an October 11, 2024 theatrical release.
Cineverse (formerly Cinedigm) and led by former MGM chairman Chris McGurk has previously said the film will “unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.

You know Art the Clown? The friendly neighborhood clown who attends children’s parties and brings smiles to their faces? Yeah, well, that’s not the Art we’re talking about. Art the Clown is the horrifying villain of the Terrifier franchise by Damien Leone, and he will soon appear in the upcoming Terrifier 3 movie, which is set to be released later this year. Today, we have finally received the first image from the movie, showing Art, and information that the release date is coming earlier than initially planned, on October 11, 2024.
The Terrifier franchise is a modern horror franchise, and while it hasn’t (yet) become a proper mainstream title, it has a devoted following and is definitely among the more popular horror franchises of the modern age, which is why fans of the genre and the series as a whole are eagerly awaiting the new movie’s premiere.

Writer/director Damien Leone had a budget of around $55,000 to work with on his breakout horror film Terrifier, and a budget of “a little over” $250,000 for Terrifier 2, which was a massive hit when it was released last year, earning $15.1 million at the box office. Since the second film did so well, Terrifier 3 (which is scheduled to reach theatres on October 25, 2024, courtesy of Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting) has a substantially higher budget. A “couple million” is going into this one, which is now deep into production – and earlier this morning, Leone took to social media with an update, revealing that he and his cast and crew “just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise and you’ll never believe who couldn’t handle it on set. The behind-the-scenes is hilarious. Can’t wait for you all to see!“

The tales of Heath Ledger’s dedication to the role of The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight have been shocking the world even though the film was released twelve years ago. The actor famously gave the role his all, locking himself in a room for days, journaling as the Clown of Gotham City, and even begging Christian Bale to beat him up for real.
Heath Ledger as Joker
It is safe to say that the actor gave and earned many scars after playing the role of this iconic character. Even though the methods he used to play the character were extreme, it would seem that there was nothing he would not have done for his perfect performance.

"Terrifier 2" caused a stir in 2022 for reportedly making audience members vomit and faint at screenings. But there was more to the success of director Damien Leone's $250,000 indie horror than sensationalist headlines. "Terrifier 2" was memorable for David Howard Thornton's committed performance as Art the Clown, a seemingly invulnerable manifestation of evil who embarks on a Halloween massacre. Thornton had played the character in 2016's "Terrifier," but with the sequel becoming as successful as it did, Art was cemented as perhaps the first original slasher character to make any kind of significant cultural impact since Ghostface.
Of course, it helped that "Terrifier 2" was even bigger, weirder, and bloodier than the original, delivering 138 minutes of unadulterated brutality while still presenting a more fully realized plot than its predecessor. According to horror director extraordinaire Mike Flanagan, "Terrifier 2" was worthy of the designation "MegaSlasher" for the way in which...

As Roger Ebert's old adage goes, no good film is too long, and no bad film is short enough. When it comes to a film's running time, the better movies will expertly pace out their scenes and present their story in exactly the way they need to be presented, whether that takes 60 minutes or 600. There's no universal bellwether connecting running time to quality. A film can drag through a very brief running time, or be riveting for several straight hours.
It's only when certain genres traditionally associated with brief running times suddenly see the release of a two-hour-plus entry that discussions of film length are revived in earnest. Action pictures are typically 90 to 100 minutes. When a superhero film comes along that's 180 minutes (as was "The Batman"), questions arise pertaining to the necessity of that length. The same might be said of Damian Leone's 2022 sleeper hit "Terrifier 2," a gore-soaked...

Terrifier mastermind Damien Leone has pulled off the very rare feat of building a successful indie horror franchise from scratch.
The Philadelphia native created the franchise’s star, Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton), in a 2008 short called The 9th Circle, and while he only appeared briefly, Leone received enough feedback on the disturbing character design to double down on the clown. Within a few years, he made a Terrifier (2011) short film as a proof of concept for a proper feature film, and his DIY attitude would only intensify when he was told all over town that clowns don’t sell.
Leone first cut his teeth as a special effects makeup artist, and through his work on Phil Falcone’s indie Joe’s War, he became fast friends with the producer-director who later decided to bankroll a $35,000 Terrifier feature. The 2016 slasher film would go on to make roughly twelve times its budget,...

The Max series Welcome to Derry, which will serve as a prequel to Warner Bros’ two-part adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel It (pick up a copy Here), went into production in Port Hope, Ontario earlier this year, aiming for a Halloween 2024 premiere. But, of course, the show’s progress has been slowed by the lengthy writers strike, which recently ended, and the ongoing actors strike. So the premiere is being pushed back a bit. Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and Max Content, has said that we probably won’t see Welcome to Derry until 2025.
Deadline reports that Bloys said, “We had had [Welcome To Derry] scheduled for Halloween ’24 but it will likely be pushing into ’25.“
Brad Caleb Kane (Tokyo Vice) and Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman), who was a co-producer on It: Chapter Two, are the showrunners on Welcome to Derry. The show is being executive produced by Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti,...

We love Art the Clown, don't we, folks? That black-and-white, blood-drenched menace has worked his way into our hearts via the "Terrifer" franchise, a DIY horror series that's become something of a cultural phenomenon. Art first appeared in the short films "The 9th Circle" and "Terrifier" before starring in a segment in the anthology film "All Hallows' Eve." Then he finally got to take the lead in two feature films, the gory "Terrifier" and the even gorier "Terrifeir 2." And that's just the beginning! Art is set to return in the Christmas-set "Terrifer 3," a film due out sometime in 2024.
And we'll be seeing the film sooner rather than later, according to franchise helmer Damien Leone. Leone sat down (virtually) with /Film's Jacob Hall timed to the November 1, 2023, theatrical re-release of "Terrifier 2," and spoke about why "Terrifier 3" will have a much quicker turnaround time compared to the previous films. On October 25, 2023, the Daily Mail posted an image depicting Art the Clown from the popular "Terrifier" slasher series in his holiday best — a Santa hat and the flayed face of Kris Kringle himself, wielding an axe in front of a Christmas tree. The bottom of the poster had "Damien Leone's Terrifier 3" listed as the title. Considering the abundance of fan art made from the film series, there was debate whether or not this was leaked promotional material or just a well-made bit of fantasy booking. Well, Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse have cleared the air to confirm that the poster was legitimate, and that "Terrifier 3" will be a Christmas horror movie.
The announcement comes paired with the theatrical re-release of the 2022 hit "Terrifer 2" on November 1, 2023, which will include an exclusive sneak peek teaser for the holiday horror slasher. "For those of you speculating that the 'Terrifier 3' teaser...
