UK sales outfit Reason8 has added erotic sports drama Her Body to its European Film Market (EFM) slate, from Czech filmmaker Natalie Cisarovska.
The Czech Republic and Slovakia co-production is based on a true story, and follows a talented high diver, getting ready for the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996, played by Slovakian star Natalia Germani. After suffering a serious vertebra injury, she is forced to end her sports career, and starts up a career in pornography.
Producers are Czech Republic’s Viktor Schwarcz and Slovakia’s Katarina Krnacova.

Les Arcs Film Festival’s industry sidebar has unveiled prizes for several projects at different stages, including Annarita Zambrano’s black comedy “Rossosperanza.”
“Rossosperanza” is being produced by Italy’s Mad Entertainment, Rai Cinema, Minnerva Pictures, and France’s Ts Productions. The movie is set in the 1980’s and unfolds at a luxurious villa turned into a rehabilitation center for troubled children from rich families.
The film was one of the 14 projects in post-production presented to film executives from top international banners and festivals as part of the work-in-progress section. The sidebar, now in its 12th edition, is curated by Frederic Boyer, the director artistic of both Tribeca and Les Arcs film festivals, alongside producer and fest co-founder Jeremy Zelnik, among others.

Vytautas Katkus’ Lithuanian feature The Visitor has won its latest development prize, taking the Coproduction Village award at Les Arcs Industry Village.
It was selected for the €6,000 prize by Remi Burah, president of ArteKino Foundation and CEO of Arte France Cinema. Burah noted “a director walking the line between fiction and documentary, social realism and fantastic poetry.”

The 10 young actors selected for this year’s European Shooting Stars has been unveiled.
European Film Promotion (Efp) has revealed the selection of upcoming talent, which will be introduced to international casting directors, producers and filmmakers at the Berlin Film Festival next month.
They include Germany’s Jonas Dassler, who starred as serial killer Fritz Honka in Faith Akin’s The Golden Glove, a biography of German serial killer Fritz Honka, which played in competition at last year’s Berlinale.

European Film Promotion has unveiled the 10 Shooting Stars, up-and-coming acting talents set to break out internationally, who will be honored at the 2020 Berlin Film Festival.
The selection comprises Bartosz Bielenia from Poland, star of Jan Komasa’s “Corpus Christi,” among films shortlisted for this year’s best international feature film Oscar; France’s Zita Hanrot, the voice talent of Zunaira in animated Oscar contender “The Swallows of Kabul” who broke out locally with Philippe Faucon’s “Fatima”; and Portugal’s Joana Ribeiro who is currently shooting Antoine Fuqua’s action thriller “Infinite” for Paramount alongside Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
