While there was never any real reason to seriously doubt that he would do so, it’s now been made official that Dominic Cooper will return as Howard Stark in Marvel’s upcoming Agent Carter TV series. Cooper first played the Stark family patriarch in Captain America: The First Avenger and had a cameo role in last year’s Agent Carter One-Shot short film.
Marvel announced the news early Tuesday morning, but did not include any indication of how large Cooper’s role will be. My guess is that he’ll be a recurring character on the series, thanks to his involvement in the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the inclusion of “secret missions” that the titular Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell) will be tasked by Stark to accomplish.
Tell us, are you excited to see Dominic Cooper don the mustache of Howard Stark once more? Let us know in the comments below.

If the prospect of Nicolas Cage starring in a remake of a Kirk Cameron movie about The Rapture isn't enough to force you into a state of sheer giddiness, then this new poster for the flick should surely do it. The power of Cage compels you! The power of Cage compels you! The power of Cage compels you!
The forthcoming $15 million reboot stars Nicolas Cage, Ashley Tisdale, Chad Michael Murray, Nicky Whelan, Lea Thompson, and Jordin Sparks. According to producer Paul Lalonde, the flick aims to be more mainstream in its sensibilities by weaving End Times “Rapture porn” with traditional disaster movie tropes.
Believe it or not, this one is supposed to be in theatres on October 3rd. We will be there... tissues in hand to wipe the laughter-induced tears from our eyes... for the very first showing. Like a moth to a flame, baby...

We've been talking about Darren Bousman's (Saw II, III, IV; Repo! The Genetic Opera; The Devil's Carnival) latest flick Abattoir for what feels like forever. Finally we have some solid news to report!
According to Variety Chad Michael Murray (pictured) is attached to star, with plans to deliver the flick by 2015.
Bousman is set to direct Abattoir, which will be produced by Radical Studios. Bousman will work from a screenplay by Christopher Monfette, who adapts the Radical Publishing comic book miniseries created by Bousman.
Abattoir centers on a Boston real-estate reporter who unearths an urban legend about someone who has spent decades buying homes where horrific tragedies have occurred and piecing them together, ultimately leading to the enigmatic Jebediah Crone and the answer to the terrifying question: How do you build a haunted house?
