Fans won’t be instantly smitten with Unforgotten’s new detective chief inspector, and that’s fine with Chris Lang, the creator and writer of the engrossing British cold-case drama, returning for Season 5 on Sunday, September 3, on PBS. He anticipated it would take time for viewers to warm up to Jessica James (Sinéad Keenan), who replaces Nicola Walker’s Cassie Stuart in the Masterpiece series’ fifth season following the beloved character’s death. Lang’s solution: to have her still-grieving colleagues, led by Detective Inspector Sunny Khan, also struggle to forge a connection with their boss, even though nine months have passed since Cassie died. “I knew the audience would come to it feeling a huge sense of loss and probably some resentment,” Lang says. “So I wanted to dive straight in to a man who’s still wrestling with grief and loss, which is impacting his professional life and...

"Do you have someone in your life right now?" Sony Pictures has debuted one final trailer for the romantic comedy Love Again, opening in theaters in early May. Make it a Date Night! It's based on a book that was already turned into another German movie called Text for You, which is about the story and a woman who finds love (again) over text messages. Love Again is the latest feature from filmmaker Jim Strouse. Apparently, it was discussed, but Tom Cruise appearing as a variant of Iron Man in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was never a real possibility.
“Few Marvel movies have had as many rumors surrounding them as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. At some point, in some corner of the internet, basically, any Marvel character you can imagine was rumored to be appearing. Now that the film is in theaters, we saw that some of that actually came true. The biggest rumor did not though, but there’s more to the story.”

As of right now there appears to be some uncertainty with the whole Superman angle when it comes to the DC universe but it does sound as though Jessica James of We Got This Covered and many others are convinced that Brandon Routh could be getting his own show as the man of steel. Such a development has some people wondering what this could mean for the Dceu and for the Superman show that Tyler Hoechlin will be starring in, and the idea that Henry Cavill could come back and Michael B. Jordan could even get tossed into the mix.

This will likely make a lot of American Horror Story fans happy to hear since Sarah Paulson has been around since the first season and has really only missed out on the action for one season despite being kind of a bit-player in other seasons. Jessica James from We Got This Covered sounds fairly excited about this and I can’t say that I blame her since Paulson has been one of the best parts of Ahs for a while now. Starting with season 2 though she became a serious participant in the ongoing ghost stories that have entertained the public

The sleeper hit The Kissing Booth is one of Netflix's newest original movies, snugly occupying the rom-com lane alongside The Incredible Jessica James and Happy Anniversary. In it, you'll quickly identify the queen of teen comedies herself, Molly Ringwald, who plays a small role in the film as Mrs. Flynn. You may also recognize Joey King, a seasoned teen actress who has appeared in movies like The Conjuring and Ramona and Beezus before snagging the leading part of sweet Elle in The Kissing Booth.
But who portrays her brooding bad-boy love interest, Noah? Here's a name that you may not be as familiar with: Jacob Elordi.
Netflix's young heartthrob hails from Brisbane, Australia, and currently resides in Los Angeles. The Aussie actor is relatively new to the big screen. Before The Kissing Booth, Elordi picked up minor roles in major films like Pirates of...

Screen Media has secured the North American rights to Robert Schwartzman’s (Dreamland) sophomore film, The Unicorn, which had its world premiere at the recent SXSW Film Festival. The romantic comedy, which will be released sometime this year, stars comedians Lauren Lapkus and Nick Rutherford as an indecisive couple thrust into the most uncomfortable night of their lives when they decide to invite a third party into their relationship. Lucy Hale, Beck Bennett, Dree Hemingway, Beverly D’Angelo, John Kapelos, Maya Kazan, Darrell Britt-Gibson, and Kyle Mooney co-star. Rutherford, a former SNL writer, co-wrote the screenplay with Kirk C. Johnson and Will Elliott. Schwartzman and Russell Wayne Grove produced the pic, while Bret Disend, Al Di, Mark Weiss, Jessica James, Bo An, Viola Du, and Nick Gross served as executive producers. Seth Needle negotiated the deal for Screen Media with ICM and Submarine on behalf of the filmmakers.
