- Jan Mulder was a Dutch soccer player, original position Striker, and started playing soccer for Dutch amateur soccer club "WVV", in Wageningen, Netherlands. In 1965 Belgium soccer club "RSC Anderlecht" bought him for 150.00 Dutch guldens. He played 7 years for Anderlecht, between 1965 and 1972, in which he played 145 games and scored 91 goals. Season 1966/1967, became top scorer of the Belgium Soccer League. In 1972 Ajax Amsterdam bought Jan Mulder from Anderlecht for 1.3 miljoen Dutch guldens, which in that time was a transfer record for a Dutch soccer team. Accidently Feyenoord Rotterdam also wanted to buy Jan Mulder, but he choose Ajax. For Ajax he played 56 games, from 1972 until 1975, in which he scored 16 times. In 1975 he had an knee injury, which forced him into early retirement from playing soccer. He played 5 games for the National Duth Soccer Team and scored 1 goal.
