Is Below Deck Down Under Season 3 happening? That’s a question on fans’ minds as Bravo has a schedule shake-up involving the hit yachting franchise.
Aside from Bravo’s schedule change, Chief Stew Aesha Scott has returned to her Below Deck Med roots for Season 9, leading to more questions about Below Deck Down Under.
Aesha spoke out after the Below Deck Med Season 9 trailer dropped, but she didn’t mention Below Deck Down Under Season 3.
This is the time of year when the Below Deck spin-off should be hitting the airwaves via Bravo or Peacock.
However, as Monsters and Critics previously reported, Captain Jason Chambers had a request for fans regarding Season 3 of the Below Deck spin-off.
So, will there be more Below Deck Down Under? Let’s take a look at what we know.

Bravo viewers couldn’t get over how un-luxurious Below Deck Down Under season 2‘s superyacht Northern Sun was when Captain Jason Chamber‘s crew sailed in Cairns, Australia, around the Great Barrier Reef. The 1976 Japanese research vessel was converted into a motor yacht back in 2007, and it wasn’t exactly glamorous. Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph struggled to make food in the unconventional and poor layout of the ship’s galley. Mercifully, Bddu season 3’s superyacht Katina, which sailed in the East African island nation of Seychelles recently, looks like a much swankier, newer boat. Many of the Bddu season 2 charter guests expressed

Below Deck reunions have become a thing of the past and viewers are not happy about it at all.
In the past year, only one of the Below Deck shows had an end-of-season reunion show to hash things out.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 featured a two-part virtual reunion, which was explosive and oh-so-good.
The virtual chat gave fans answers to what really happened between Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae after cameras were spotted rolling and more.
Now, as Below Deck Med Season 8 came to a close without a reunion, virtual or in person, fans are wondering what Bravo has going on.
After all, the Real Housewives and other Bravo shows get multi-part reunions, so why is Below Deck getting the shaft?
Let’s take a look at what we know.
Why are Below Deck reunions not happening anymore?

Below Deck Down Under second officer João Franco hoped Jezabob wouldn’t make an appearance this season, but his alter ego ended up rearing his ugly head.
Franco referred to Jezabob early this season and told the crew that when he got drunk, his alter ego Jezabob took over and he (and other crew members) wasn’t a fan. Jezabob has no filter and makes harsh remarks. Jezabob is also a bit of a womanizer.
Franco may have kept the Genie in the bottle, but unleashed Jezabob during the final crew night on the town – and it wasn’t pretty.
Why did João turn into Jezabob on ‘Below Deck Down Under’?
Franco had quit drinking after watching how his alter ego insulted and hurt crew members when he was bosun on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4. He didn’t like who he was when he drank so he curbed a lot of his partying.

Below Deck Down Under second officer João Franco said his girlfriend wasn’t a yachtie when they met. Instead, they started dating and she got into yachting.
Franco recently offered some insight into his relationship with girlfriend Domi Tiesi, especially in light of his short-lived boatmance with chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph.
“Fun fact – we actually met through Tinder in Mallorca,” he captioned a photo on Instagram. “Another fun fact – she did not know what yachting was before we met. And another – we both did not want to be in relationships when we met! And here we are. One more – We’ve already traveled to 33 countries together!!”
Franco and Mace-Ralph had a boatmance when he joined the Below Deck Down Under Season 2 crew in spring 2022. Tiesi initially showed up on Franco’s Instagram timeline during the summer of 2022, after his Below Deck season ended. The couple marked a year of dating...

Brittini Burton, a Below Deck Down Under Season 1 deckhand, said it is important to emphasize how the women came together on the boat following the sexual assault filmed during season 2.
Chief stew Aesha Scott became extremely protective of stew Margot Sisson after bosun Luke Jones came to her cabin naked while she was unconscious. He climbed into her bunk, which is when producers intervened. Horrified, Scott ended up staying with Sisson for some time while she slept to protect her. She then told Captain Jason Chambers who swiftly removed Jones from the boat. Jones was fired the next day.
Burton, who currently runs a female empowerment business, applauded how both Scott and chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph nurtured and supported Sisson after the incident. She said the display of support and protection was extremely important and should be applauded.

In the opening scenes of the latest episode of Below Deck Down Under, we saw something that pretty much never happens on the Bravo yachting franchise: a producer appeared. For the “fourth wall” to be broken, it was clear something deadly serious was about to happen.
A naked Luke Jones — bosun/leader of the deck crew on the charter season — had just climbed into junior stewardess Margot Sisson’s bunk bed. The crew had returned from a night out in Australia where they had been drinking heavily. Margot was passed out in bed and immobile.

We’ve only just begun charter season number 2 of Below Deck Down Under, and the Australian waters are anything but calm aboard the superyacht. Captain Jason Chambers and Chief Stew Aesha Scott are working with a new crew including Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, Bosun Luke Jones, Deckhands Adam Kodra and Harry Van Vilet, and Stews Laura Bileskaine and Margot Sisson. A familiar face from last season “Chief Entertainment Officer” Culver Bradbury rounds out the deck team. Things have been getting tense with Captain Jason, who hasn’t been thrilled with the performance of the exterior, even to the extent of questioning Luke’s ability to lead. Adding to the stress are some demanding charter guests that have truly tested everyone right out of the gate. Viewers also got to see the makings of some romantic drama between Luke, Margot, and Harry with more to come. What will happen next, in episode...
