“America’s Got Talent” season 19 continued Tuesday, June 4 with another two-hour episode of first-round auditions. Once again, this season’s hopefuls are judged by executive producer Simon Cowell on one end of the dais and Howie Mandel on the other. Seated in the middle are Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara, with Terry Crews on stage as the lively host.
In the audition phase of “AGT,” an act needs at least three of the four judges to give them a “yes” vote to advance to the next round. If two or more judges buzz the act, they are immediately eliminated. For the first time ever, each judge has not one, but two chances to hit the “golden buzzer” and send an act straight through to the live performances. Terry had one chance of his own, totaling nine acts overall that will earn the special path to the final phase of the competition.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League has crowned its first-ever winner, and it wasn’t the act many viewers expected to see come out on top. On Monday’s (February 19) finale, The Ramadhani Brothers beat out the competition, making Howie Mandel the first victor of the spin-off series. Fadhili Ramadhani and Ibrahim Jobu, the hand-and-head-balancing brothers from Tanzania, were originally drafted by Team Heidi Klum, but Mandel ‘stole’ the brothers after their qualifiers’ performance. “Winning AGT: Fantasy League is the most amazing feeling that we can’t describe!” Fadhili told People. “We have been in other Got Talent competitions around the world and have reached every finals but have never won. But winning against past winners of AGT and some of the best acts on the planet, it really raises our status.” The Ramadhani Brothers, who initially appeared on AGT during Season 18, faced off against eight other acts on Monday’s finale.

Monday night during the Semi-finals 2 episode of “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League,” Australian singer Sheldon Riley from “AGT” Season 15 returned to the big stage with his rendition of “golden hour” by Jvke. While Mel B (his mentor), Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell gave him mostly positive comments, Howie Mandel received boos from the studio audience for his harsh criticism of Sheldon’s performance.
“You know, I’m just gonna say what I thought,” Howie declared when it was his turn to speak. “I think you’re one of the best singers we have heard on this show. But tonight, I thought that was way off. I found that way off.” As the crowd reacted negatively to Howie’s comments, he continued on, “Rather than hitting the notes, you were hitting volume, and you stayed in one little plane and it was just loud. Here’s how it works: each of the show’s judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and the aforementioned Spice Girl — will build a fantasy team comprised of 10 fan-favorite acts from AGT seasons past. “America’s Got Talent” viewers were shocked on Wednesday night when dog act Adrian Stoica and Hurricane was crowned as the $1 million winner. Fun fact: they are now the third act to prevail on “AGT” that did not receive a Golden Buzzer since its inception, following Shin Lim (Season 13) and Dustin Tavella (Season 16). In Gold Derby’s post-finale poll, we asked fans to vote for who Really deserved to win Season 18, and Adrian & Hurricane came in third place with 16% of the vote. The top spot went to singer Putri Ariani at 26%, followed by synchronized dancers Murmuration at 21%.
Putri is Simon Cowell‘s Golden Buzzer singer who went viral each week with her pitch-perfect voice and out-of-the-box song choices (including those by U2 and Elton John). The 17-year-old Indonesian artist was born blind, but she doesn’t let that stop her from realizing her dream of becoming a worldwide recording artist. Putri ultimately finished in fourth place,...

After nearly four months of competition, “America’s Got Talent” has crowned a season 18 champion!
It all came down to the Top 11 on Wednesday — which included singers, a stand-up comedian, a young magician, three dance crews, two choirs, and a record-setting total of five Golden Buzzer winners — all of whom beat the odds to make it this far.
However, only one could win the grand prize of $1 million and a special stage show at the Luxor in Las Vegas.

Fan-favorite singer Gabriel Henrique from Brazil returned to the “America’s Got Talent” stage on the September 19 episode for the first time since receiving Sofia Vergara‘s Golden Buzzer. This time around, he surprised audiences with his song choice of “Something Beautiful” by Jacob Banks, and Sofia declared him to be nothing less than “perfection” and “an angel.” In fact, all four of the judges were up on their feet and had only positive comments for the powerhouse singer. During the September 19 episode of “America’s Got Talent,” things got spicy at the judges’ table when Simon Cowell scolded the show’s producers on live television. It all started when Howie Mandel pressed Heidi Klum‘s red X during the vocal performance of “Who You Are” by Nashville singing duo Trailer Flowers. Being a live show, the actual button push wasn’t caught on camera, but when host Terry Crews came out to clarify what happened, the producers played a clip of Howie sneakily pressing Heidi’s red buzzer. Watch the “AGT” moment in the video above.
“I would not press my buzzer in the semi-finals,” Howie falsely declared, despite the proof being shown on camera. Of course, Howie was not being completely genuine because he had previously X’ed Phil Wright & Parent Jam, Sharpe Family Singers and Ray Wold & Mom during this season’s live shows, and received some flack for it online.
