Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Audrey Zane graduated from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Visualization (concentration in Animation) and a Minor in Film Studies. She is pursuing her MFA in Film at Columbia University where she is concentrating in Creative Producing. Her short 'Poppy', which she also wrote herself, is in post-production along with 'Sunflowers in Idaho', which she produced.
When not attending classes at Columbia's School of the Arts or working on films and scripts, Audrey is an avid reader and almost always has her Kindle with her wherever she goes. Audrey is interested in the creative development of stories and, as a reader, in the development of adaptations. Her aforementioned short film, 'Poppy', is a queer, contemporary adaptation of the Greek myth of Persephone.
