Sam is an internationally awarded Marketer. She has worked at a diverse set of companies like Amazon, Airbnb, BBH, and VICE; on brands such as Red Bull, adidas, Apple, Amazon, Google, and most importantly, the Canadian retail giant/ national treasure: Canadian Tire.
She has spent her 15+ year career pushing the boundaries of what defines an "ad", which is demonstrated through work like 'Welcome Home' by Spike Jonze for Apple HomePod, and creating the world's first location-based mobile music video by Keys N Krates, for Fido Mobile.
She has a broad range of category experience, focusing the last eight years on tech and music. She recently joined the podcast industry, and helped to build the podcast business at Amazon Music. She is a member of the Podcast Academy and has been an Ambies blue ribbon judge since 2021.
She has dedicated her time to initiatives like Times Up, Lean In, and CHANGE THE LENS, helping companies tackle the issue of under-representation and creating safe, inclusive work environments
