- Composer
Tate Boyce is an actor, rap artist and model. His debut was the role of 'Brother' in short film Black Boy (2023) in addition to supporting as a member of the crew, creating the whole project with just his twin brother Tyrelle Boyce and ex-teacher-turned-manager Benjamin Turner. Despite its very humble beginnings (filmed in one day by two 17-year-olds and their ex-teacher), Black Boy (2023) was in the official selection for a BAFTA-qualifying film festival. Since then, Tate has had a range of acting roles across film and other media. Growing up in South London, Croydon, conscious rapper Tate (stage name 'TL') has a rawness to his sound and lyrics reflective of artists twice his age. His intelligent wordplay reflects his experiences and surroundings growing up in modern London, matched with energetic flows and hard-hitting delivery. Tate's partnership with producer Strange Dreamz (producer tag for Jaiden Parmar) has helped him refine a unique brand to his sound, self-titled 'Cinematic Real Rap', delivering a soundtrack - inspired by the modern sounds of drill combined with orchestral film music - to the backdrop of young, Black London.
