If you love entertainment, grand-scale action, charismatic leads, and films about making films then you shouldn’t miss The Fall Guy. Directed by David Leitch from a screenplay by Drew Pearce, the romantic action-comedy film is a throwback to blockbusters which had only one purpose, entertainment. Directed by a previous stunt performer turned director himself The Fall Guy is entirely dedicated to the men and women who “take it on the chin” for our entertainment.
Based on a 1980s series of the same name by Glen A. Larson, the action-comedy film follows the story of a Hollywood stunt performer Colt Seavers who cuts ties with everyone after an accident including the love of his life Jody, a camerawoman. Cut to, 18 months later Colt is called back to be the stunt performer for the biggest action star in the world Tom Ryder on an epic sci-fi which happens to be Jody...

Which came first, the hybrids or the Sick? Grab your coats — we’re venturing to Alaska for answers to all the big questions in the new trailer for the third and final season of Sweet Tooth.
The trailer shows the epic conclusion to Gus’ (Christian Convery) journey, as Sweet Tooth, Jepperd (Nonso Anozie), Wendy (Naledi Murray), and Bear (Stefania Lavie Owen) brave through a quest that’s been coming to fruition since the show’s first episode. In the two-and-a-half minute trailer, the stakes are high and the vibes are ominous as Birdie says she “can’t shake the feeling that something’s closing in … something bad.”
Amidst the high-octane, visually stunning, action-packed preview, one thing is made clear — the world needs saving, and Gus must lead the way. The final installment of Sweet Tooth will play out over eight episodes (the same length as the previous two seasons), almost...

Everyone has their private list of actors who they think should be in more movies. Jessica Henwick is on my list.
The only feeling I can remember from watching "The Defenders" is being charmed by her performance as Colleen Wing. So much so that I was half-tempted to go back and watch "Iron Fist" (emphasis on half). Thankfully, I've had more options since then.
Henwick's plucky charisma carries her through both comedy and action hero roles, and it pains me when she's stuck in uninspired movies like "Underwater" or "The Gray Man." That said, she is a scene-stealer in "The Matrix Resurrections" as Bugs (as in Bunny), the blue-haired hacker who reawakens Neo (Keanu Reeves).
She's even got some directing chops; in 2022, she made and starred in her own short film, "Bus Girl," about June, an aspiring chef working in a restaurant. Shot on a Xiaomi 11 phone, Henwick uses sweeping...

It’s late at night, and I see a thriller called An Awful Thing Has Gone And Happened (2022). Settling back the brain kicks in thinking I may see gun battles, car chases, and maybe a love story with a dark twist. The title alone makes me think this may be something odd, I mean who makes a title like that unless you are To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995).
The film opens at night when one sees Augustus (John Dixon) wielding a large gun in a car trying to get up the courage. Over this, a screechy radio caller (Fiddling Leona) is going on about something totally different. Augustus mutters to himself, then gets out and trots to a spot where he digs up a cooler that is filled with money. Out of the darkness comes a figure that is revealed as Augustus’s father. Augustus is startled...

Three seasons into Central Park, songwriters Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel are thrilled with how much room they’ve been given to explore new genres. Told through the eyes of a busker narrator named Birdie (Josh Gad), the musical series follows Owen Tillerman (Leslie Odom Jr.), the manager of the park, who lives in the park with his journalist wife Paige (Kathryn Hahn) and two children Cole (Tituss Burgess) and Molly (Emmy Raver-Lampman). As they deal with issues across the park, elderly heiress Bitsy (Stanley Tucci) is plotting to turn the park into condominiums. Anderson and Samsel chose the song “Backing Up” for Emmy consideration, performed by Owen (Odom Jr.) as he deals with the possible loss of his family’s memories from a hard drive. As the pair played the song for the show runners, they found it “hit a nerve in a good way.”

There are times when being a TV reviewer is a very cool job. Like today, when I got to watch Nancy Drew Season 4 Episode 3 ahead of everyone else.
Yup, you can hate me later. But with only a grand total of 11 installments in the final season, these writers are packing a lot into each one.
So, if waiting for Wednesday night is just too much for you, and the anticipation is too distracting, I've got you covered with a little something to get you through.
Here are some highlights to look forward to from "The Danger of the Hopeful Sigil."
Fair warning, if you want to remain completely spoiler-free, you need to Stop Reading Now! You've been warned.
In this episode, Nancy, Ace, and the entire Drew Crew take breaking this love curse seriously. They're all in, but Temperance's handiwork isn't about to make this easy.

On May 30, digital media company Brat TV released the first episode of the second season of College Years, a spin-off of the Chicken Girls franchise. Since its first episode hit YouTube in 2017, Chicken Girls has become Brat’s biggest hit, growing into a multimedia brand that encompasses books, podcasts, and much more.
College Years, which arrived last year, dives into the collegiate lives of two characters who first appeared within Chicken Girls‘ high school milieu: Birdie (played by Mads Lewis) and Rooney (Indiana Massara). The second season of College Years brings new dimensions to those characters by introducing a fresh series of trials, friendships, and love interests.
But College Years is more than a mere spinoff. It’s Brat’s attempt to follow its target audience. Through its signature franchise, Brat has welcomed a devout fan base of Gen Z consumers. As those viewers grow up, adopt different attitudes, and seek new experiences,...
