Daniel Gurevich

Danya Gurevich was born in Leningrad in 1974 and moved to Paris with
his parents a year after. In 1997 he came to study in Moscow film
school VGIK in cinematography major. He made his debut with a few short
films in VGIK as the Cinematographer and in big motion picture in 2002
with the movie "Bumer". In 2002 he was supposed to film a movie,
"Messenger", for Sergei Bodrov Jr. and he traveled to the caucaus
mountains. On September 20th 2002, an avalanche due to a glacier slide
came down from the mountains. Bodrov and Gurevich with their production
group are still reported missing, believed killed.
