Scout Comm is a non-binary writer from the Rust Belt who tells queer coming of age stories with a genre twist. Most recently, Scout worked as the Script Coordinator on The L Word: Generation Q, co-writing the Season 3 finale alongside showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan. Prior to that, Scout cut their teeth in TV Development, adapting international formats for Keshet Studios. In 2017, Scout graduated from Emerson College with a B.A. in screenwriting. During their studies, they interned for BBC Worldwide and America's favorite aardvark, Arthur. Their written work has also been featured in several competitions and festivals, with their pilot, Toxic Shock, advancing to Semifinalist in the 2021 Blue Cat Screenwriting Competition. Outside writing, catch Scout on the track skating for LA's local roller derby league, Angel City Derby.
