Louise Fraser

Born in the UK, previously based in London and the Highlands of Scotland, Louise resides in Los Angeles where her work has been featured on the CW, NBC, Lifetime, MTV, and in movies (Jack Black's 'Goosebumps', Jada Pinkett Smith's 'Hala', etc.). Louise has collaborated with various producers including John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, etc), Don Smith (Rolling Stones, U2, Tom Petty, Ry Cooder, etc), film composer Jeff Rona (Phantom, Traffic, Black Hawk Down, Thin Red Line, etc), and members of the Counting Crows and Tom Petty's Heartbreakers.
Louise has released two solo acoustic CDs to date; 'Ghosttown', and 'Thaw'. On Thaw, Billboard magazine wrote "An impressive feat... exceptional quality and songwriting craftsmanship."
In addition to her solo work, Louise is lead singer of Muricidae, with band mate John Fryer (producer of NiN, Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, etc). Muricidae have released two EPs to date, 'Tales from a Silent Ocean' and 'Tears are Stronger Than Waves. Sideline reviewed Muricidae as 'rich vocals very smoothly mixed..a recommended release, we surely hope to hear more', CWN wrote 'a sweet new release wrapped in a glitter-ball, sharper than a Tom Ford suit... ', and Post-Punk noted it would 'leave you content in glorious ruin'.
Louise is also lead singer for the Celtic Cinema Collaborative, performing/ recording songs in Gaelic and English. From stripped down funeral laments to fully orchestrated battle cries, the Celtic Cinema Collaboration also include string virtuoso and orchestrator Martin Tichy (Three Musketeers, Vienna Symphonic), percussionist and producer Josef Peters (Grant Lee Buffalo, Cracker), and gold record producer/ multi instrumentalist Bernhard Penzias.
