Michelle Gibson (Michelle Smith Gibson), raised in the small town of Murrysville, Pennsylvania by parents John and Susan Smith, grew up riding and showing Quarter Horses with her family. Her passion for performing started when she was 5 years old and asked to sing a song in front of her church. While earning her B.A. from Penn State, she started modeling as a side venture. After being named Miss Hawaiian Tropic Pittsburgh, she was signed with Docherty Casting and appeared in print work, commercials, voice overs, and extra work in various movies including "Sudden Death" and "Love and Other Drugs". She continued her modeling/spokesperson career working in Orlando and Miami fashion shows, print work and a home shopping TV series. Her continued passion for performing led to a desire for larger roles and a more tailored approach. She pursued acting, studying with Nancy Mosser Casting(1999-2019) and Donna Belajac Actors Studio(2019-2023), and is represented by the Docherty Agency. Deeply involved in local theater, her recent stage credits include "Mrs. Which" in A Wrinkle In Time (2023), "Glory" and "Hope" in Almost Maine (2023), "Laura" in Steve Martin's play Meteor Shower (2023), "The Queen" in Snow White (2023), "Future" in A Dash Of Dickens (2022), "Manda" in Abroad Not Home (Audience Choice Award Finalist 2022 The Pittsburgh New Works Festival), "Sheree" in The Sweet Delilah Swim Club (2022), and "Gemma" in Two Lines (Audience Choice Award Finalist 2021 The Pittsburgh New Works Festival). Her most recent commercial is with Mac Bid as the comedic "losing bidder"(2022). She is also known for acting and writing in various award winning and nominated independent films produced for the 48 Hour Film Project as "Chloe" in Turing Point (2023), "Senator Bobbi Staplethorpe" in Nutcase (2023), "Ringmaster" in Freak Out (2022), and "Frankie Murray" in Pic Trip (2022), as well as other independent short films and TV projects. She is known on YouTube for her comedic Lucy Vitameatavegamin takes. She is studying at the William Esper Studio in New York.
