As one of America's original Hardcore and Oldskool Techno DJs, Demigod has been rocking the biggest crowds for over 25 years. From domestic residencies at Electric Daisy Carnival and Nocturnal Wonderland, to international bookings at the "Bunkor" in Berlin, "Eurotech 2000" in London and "#1" in Milan, Italy, DJ Demigod has long been a champion of the American Hardcore and Oldskool techno sound. Operating from his home base in Los Angeles, DJ Demigod has performed around the world at festivals and clubs as far away as Austria, Scotland, England, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Switzerland.
Demigod is an acclaimed producer whose first 12-inch entitled "D-Day," was released in 1997 on Industrial Strength Records, making him the first west coast artist on the legendary New York label. The E.P. was heralded by the world's top deejays including DJ Slipmat, who in Muzik magazine proclaimed the record was "arranged with total originality." Likewise in Dream Magazine, DJ Scott Brown wrote that this record is "3 tracks of extreme dance till you drop hardcore...Ruff Beats collectors should not miss out."
Having crossed into Motion Pictures over a decade ago, DJ Demigod has credits in the 20th Century Fox film "From Hell" starring Heather Graham and Johnny Depp. In 2014, three original Demigod songs were used in the feature film, "A Bit of Bad Luck" starring Cary Elwes and Terry Polo.
Displaying remarkable longevity and staying power, DJ Demigod was commissioned in 2015 by the biggest EDM company in the world, Insomniac Events, to curate the inaugural "History 101" installation at the 20 year Anniversary Nocturnal Wonderland festival. Together with Visual Symphony, the "History 101' stage was designed as an immersive experience into the roots of EDM. Demigod not only curated the entire music selection over the course of the 3-day festival, he also performed over a dozen 1-hour sets using 100% original vinyl. To support the "History 101" tent installation, Insomniac Events released an exclusive mix-tape to commemorate 20-years of Insomniac featuring residents Demigod and DJ Dan.
Having released projects with renowned DJs such as Rob Gee, Omar Santana, and Lenny Dee, DJ Demigod is well positioned for the future. With plans for a full length solo album, remixes of classic hits as well as music placement in the upcoming motion picture "Solutrean,' DJ Demigod is both creator and embodiment of Techno's, past present and future.
