Gil is a twenty year veteran of the film industry with roots in South America and the Middle East. He is the editor of several films including "TransMilitary", which won the Audience Award at the 2018 SXSW Film Festival, "Aggie", which was selected for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and "Minted" which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2023.
In addition, Gil is an award-winning screenwriter who's work has gained accolades at the Screenwriter's Colony, the Nicholl Fellowship, the Bluecat Competition and the Stowe Screenwriting Lab among others. His screenplay, "The Delivery", won the Silver prize at the Page Awards and is in the top 1% of Coverfly's rankings. His horror screenplay, "Kyra", beat out 1300 other screenplays to garner a finalist nod at Page as well.
