Paolo Portillo is a Filipino-American actor based in Los Angeles, California. His recent work includes an Independent Feature by Director Elizabeth Blake-Thomas. Portillo currently studies Theatre at the prestigious University of Southern California, where he works with incredible artists including Bayo Akinfemi, Stephanie Shroyer, Kathy Dunn-Muzingo, Rodney To, and much more. He has also been training with the remarkable Mary-Joan Negro, as well as vocal training with Stephen Pitters.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, Portillo is the son of a loving mother and father from Olongapo City, Philippines. At the age of 15, Portillo grew an interest in acting and is also trained on the violin, loves traveling as much as he can, and enjoys cooking. Besides acting, Portillo writes and directs his own short films, feature film screenplays, and stage plays. He one day looks forward to working with some of his artistic heroes; Viola Davis, Sandra Oh, and Michelle Yeoh.
