- Edsel Dope recently announced that the band is taking a break and will come together for a fifth album in the summer to be completed for early 2007. Right now, Edsel and Virus of Dope are playing for Makeshift-Romeo and Brix and Racci Sahy are touring with Wednesday 13. (April 2006)
- Preparing to go on a long two-month headlining tour with Motograter and best friends Twisted Method. The tour is called the "American Apathy Tour," named after the upcoming Dope album. (September 2004)
- Fourth album entitled "American Apathy" was released. At least 5 versions were released. Single disc, limited edition with two discs, limited edition with DVD, clean version and tour version (July 2005)
- Dope has recently finished recording their fourth full length album, while out on the road touring, and are expecting to release it by the end of 2004.

In October of 2002, they released a sort of "greatest hits" album that could only be purchased at live shows, sort of as a thank you to the fans. The CD sold for $10, included 22 (including a live track and plentyof old demo songs from their past, as well as a demo of the song Bitch), and was called Felons For Life.
