- Along with Zack Ward has begun a movie production company called Makeshift Productions, which will release their first feature film; a horror movie tentatively titled Zombies Ate My Mom, in 2005.
- After leaving Evanescence, which he co-founded as a teen with Amy Lee, he co-wrote and co-produced music for Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson.

- In October 2003, left Evanescence mid-tour in Europe, informed the manager and flew home.
- Has been confirmed as a guitar player on Jason Miller's "Forever in Our Hearts", a song written for Tsunami Relief. Other artists contributing to this project include Mya, Brian McKnight, Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Jason and Mike Miller of Godhead, and many more. A release date is yet to be confirmed. (January 2005)
