- Donna worked for NSA from '79 to '81.
- If you look closely at the Cuban Protestors in "Recount" you'll see Donna wearing a straw hat standing next to the character Evilio Cepero, played by actor Gaston Renaud.
- As a toddler, Donna was selected to play the smallest royal princess for a special theatrical production of the "King & I" starring Deborah Kerr.
- Donna's maternal Grandfather was one of two men that built two wood, folding-wing airplanes for one of Admiral Byrd's expeditions to the South Pole. One of the planes fell into the Antarctic during a storm and the other is in the Smithsonian Institute.
- Both of her sisters married men who have sisters named Donna.
- After High School Donna went to Atlanta to attend nursing school where she was given the nickname Nightingale. Her friends liked to tease her about both her vocation to be a nurse, as well as her singing at night and on weekends to make spending cash. She was also very active in her church choir.
