Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson, the "Walking Dead" and "Vampire Diaries" actress accused of sending three letters filled with ricin to President Barack Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg (and a non-profit associated with him), has pled guilty to the charges. She is now looking at up to 18 years in prison.
The pro-gun actress confirmed she sent pro-Second Amendment letters filled with ricin to both government officials and a higher up at the organization. She then proceeded to try to blame the crime on her third husband Nathaniel Richardson, whom she was soon divorcing.
Both lived in Texas, about 100 miles away from where the three letters were mailed. Guess was arrested on June 7, 2013 after confessing she mailed the poison but claimed she was forced to do so by her husband.
The letters all included the message: "You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns.
