The Artists4Ceasefire group, as they called themselves, asked in an open letter for the conflict to end, and for women and children to live in peace.

T-Pain says he plans to continue to write country music songs as a ghostwriter.
The singer-songwriter-producer recently made headlines when he revealed that he stopped taking credit for the country songs he’s worked on because of the “racism” he dealt with in the genre.
“I wrote a lot of country songs, and the country songs that I get credit on — I wouldn’t say backlash or anything like that — but [there] was a lot of criticism of, ‘Why did they let a Black person be a part of this?’ or things like that. It was just a lot of that stuff. So I kind of just backed off from putting my name on things and just collect the money,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t need to be known for any of that. That’s fine.”
“I’m a ghostwriter [and] it’s just easier,” he continues. “Why not?...

Madonna kicked off “The Celebration Tour” with the first of four performances at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night.
A true retrospective performance, the career-spanning setlist touched on all eras of Madonna’s career and featured numerous songs that hadn’t been performed in decades. The show opened with only the second performance ever of “N0thing Really Matters” from Ray of Light. A few songs later, she dusted off “Live to Tell” from True Blue for the first time since 2006.
Songs like “Justify My Love,” “Bad Girl,” and “Rain” were performed for the first time sine 1993, while “Bedtime Story” was dusted off for the first time since 1995. Other noteworthy performances included “Like A Prayer,” in which she was accompanied by topless dancers, an acoustic cover of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive,” and “Like a Virgin,” which was interpolated elements of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.”

Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber took a trip down memory lane to celebrate the release of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ new project, ‘The Love Album: Off The Grid’. The ‘Confident’ artiste recalled a time before the fame when he tried to offer his talents to Diddy but was shut down, reports People magazine. “I remember going to my brother Diddy’s office to pitch him a song I wrote for him when I was like 14, sadly the song was trash haha,” Bieber said on his Instagram Story.
Unfortunately, “it would be a hard no from him,” as Bieber put it. However, the Canadian superstar is proof that a dream deferred is not always a dream denied. “Fast forward to a few years ago Puff asked if I would freestyle something for his upcoming love album. Beyoncé’s back-to-back nights at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this past weekend were two of the most star-studded shows of the Renaissance tour thus far. Greta Gerwig and America Ferrera watched the show from risers, while singer and songwriter Kehlani was close enough to the stage to snap a selfie with Beyoncé. Laverne Cox attended both nights and penned a heartfelt, revelatory caption about how the concert made her feel born again. Also in the audience was Madonna, who received a shoutout from one queen to another.

Saweetie seems to be making things official with fellow rapper Yg. The two musicians were photographed packing on the Pda in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on May 28, per photos obtained by TMZ.
Dating rumors between the two have been swirling for a while. Saweetie attended Yg's birthday party in March and then were reportedly spotted at the same restaurant in Los Angeles, per Xxl. Before they began to fuel dating rumors, though, they were collaborators, with both lending features to Mozzy's July 2022 track "In My Face." They also teamed up with Tyga for their hit "Money Mouf" in 2020.
It's unclear when things turned romantic, but in the past, Saweetie revealed that she tends to take a confident approach to dating. "I recently used this pick-up line on someone. I said that 'I was looking for you,'" she told Popsugar in 2021. "I think that's a great pick-up line, so you should try it.

Almost a year after confirming she's dating comedian Myke Wright, Lizzo went Instagram official with her beau on Feb. 4. The "About Damn Time" singer posted a carousel of photos featuring her and Wright at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala alongside the caption "Hard launch." The outing also marked the couple's first red carpet appearance together.
The happy couple look cozy in the photos, which include a shot of Lizzo leaning her head against Wright as he smiles, a snap featuring the Grammy winner doing a "Princess Diaries"–style foot pop, and a pic where the duo are in full power-couple mode as they stand side by side. While Lizzo has been candid about dating the comedian, seeing her finally share photos of him on her Instagram is still special, as evidenced by the reactions of the singer's famous friends.

Despite news reports that Michael B. Jordan is dating Amber Jepson, Et has learned that the actor is not in a relationship with the British model and remains single after his June breakup with Lori Harvey.
The Sun first broke out the romance rumors, reporting that the 35-year-old is “said to be enamored” with the 26-year-old model. Jordan and Jepson reportedly began spending time together after the actor took a minority stake in Premier League club Bournemouth.

As a music critic, it’s important to listen to as much music as possible. Play your favorites, but also discover new artists. Randomly select an album and give it a try. Check out recommendations from family, friends and folks on social media. Give that album you didn’t love another try.
Still, we like what we like, and music is subjective. With that said, here’s my list of the top albums of 2022!
1. Beyoncé, Renaissance
Listening to Beyoncé’s Renaissance is like watching and rewatching that epic TV series or film — the discovery is endless, and there is so much to unpack. The lyrics are catchy and confident, the beats are bouncy and brilliant and her vocal range is impeccable, going from fluttery coos on “Virgo’s Groove” to soft and sensual on “Plastic Off the Sofa” to assertive shit-talking throughout the 16-track dance escapade.

Destiny Rogers is hanging out in a North Hollywood recording studio when, all of a sudden, Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out” rings out from the back.
Rogers’ friends appear out of nowhere, armed with flowers and a cake with the words “Soy gay!” written on it in uneven frosting.
More than a celebration, the cake symbolizes a moment of relief for Rogers, the Lodi, California-raised, Mexican American R&b singer with “Philippians 4:13” tattooed on her arm. Earlier that January day, she finally came out as bisexual to her mom.

Girls’ night arrived early on The Tonight Show Thursday when Babyface performed “Don’t Even Think About It,” a track off his upcoming album Girls’ Night Out with Baby Tate. Tate, wearing a coat of blue feathers, handled the first few verses while Babyface strummed a sparkly Stratocaster (left-handed), leading up to the chorus, “Don’t even think about it, take a shot … don’t even think about forever.” Babyface, wearing dark shades, finally stepped up to the mic for the bridge, singing, “You don’t want to see you...
