The Macquarie Radio Network has appointed Anthony Smyth to the Melbourne office and Adam Messenger to the Brisbane office representing 2Gb and 2Ch.

Macquarie Radio Network (Mrn) today announced two appointments to its interstate sales offices, with Anthony Smyth and Adam Messenger representing Sydney radio stations 2Gb and 2Ch in Melbourne and Brisbane respectively.
Mrn Group Sales and Marketing Director Mark Noakes said, “Both Anthony and Adam add significant strength to our sales effort in the Victorian and Queensland markets. Their experience will ensure advertisers in those markets will be well serviced and informed on the Macquarie Radio Network group of stations.”
Victorian State Sales Manager Anthony Smyth joins Mrn with a wealth of radio sales experience, having previously worked in sales at Pacific Star and Arn. Queensland State Sales manager Adam Messenger has previously held roles at Dmg and Arn.

From July 27 to August 12, the Australian media will go sport crazy as the Games of the XXX Olympiad, aka the 2012 London Summer Olympics, unfold. The games will be the most televised sporting event of our time as broadcasters look to master every manner of technology at their disposal.At the front of the media pack are those who hold the official rights for the broadcast and here on Aussie soil the three key commercial players are Channel Nine, Foxtel and the Macquarie Radio Network.
