- Composer, author, lyricist ("It's Howdy Doody Time") and stock broker, educated at Columbia University (with a Bachelor of Arts degree). During World War II, he served in the US Naval Reserve as a Lieutenant junior grade. Between 1947 and 1955 he wrote songs for television and for RCA Victor records and Golden Books. In Miami, Florida, he produced television programs from 1956, and he became a stock broker in 1958.
