The anime adaptation of Mecha-Ude is set to take the fall 2024 anime season by storm! Today, we have more information about the upcoming series, including new cast additions. Ahead of a July 2 premiere in Japan, the upcoming My Wife Has No Emotion anime revealed a new key visual today, along with voice actors for Takuma's younger sister with an interspecies romance fetish and a high-grade robot that "does everything perfectly." An official website and Twitter account opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of rom-com manga My Wife Has No Emotion is in production, revealing a teaser visual, main cast and staff and a July 2024 release date. Teaser Visual Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Kazuki in Buddy Daddies ) will voice tired corporate worker Takuma Kosugi and Konomi Inagaki (Serufu in Do It Yourself!! ) will voice housekeeping robot Mina. Late last year, it was announced that Bilibili anime Link Click would be getting its second season dubbed into Japanese for 2024. Today, we've got the date locked in: April 10 . The second season will see the return of Season 1's Japanese cast, including Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Takahiro Sakurai and Aoi Koga. A dubbed trailer is also available via the show's official X (formerly Twitter) account . Netflix is going all in on anime as they add the eagerly anticipated Godzilla movie and 12 other projects to their slate of upcoming programming. Deadline says in addition to the series the network is also overseeing the development of Cannon Busters, Devilman Crybaby, B: The Beginning, and Knights Of The Zodiac: Saint Seiya just to name a few.
The Godzilla and Saint Seiya grabs really show that Netflix is working to grab their Western audience who loves anime, but with competitors like Crunchyroll and Funimation (who was recently bought by Sony) in the mix, who knows if they'll be able to compete on that front. Time will tell, but the addition of so many projects seems promising for the future of anime on the platform.
