1990 Abitur in Hechingen and start of training with the police of Baden-Württemberg; 1993 to 1995 patrol duty; 1996 to 2001 group leader with the riot police; 2001 to 2004 studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Police in Villingen-Schwenningen, graduation as Diplom-Verwaltungswirt-Polizei (FH) and appointment as police commissioner; 2004 to 2005 assignment in the command group of an operational unit; 2005 to 2010 various assignments with the riot police; 2009 appointment as police superintendent; 2010 to 2014 teacher at the police school in Böblingen; 2013 appointment as police chief inspector; since 2014 lecturer at the University of Police in Baden-Württemberg at the Institute for Advanced Training.
