Monica Garcia’s time on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City may be over, but she still updates fans about her life.
The reality TV star has announced that she’s pregnant and expecting her fifth child.
Monica, who shares kids Bri, 18, Jaidyn, 13, West, 7, and Kendall, 6, with ex-husband Mike Fowler, revealed the news on the April 11 episode of The Viall Files podcast.
Monica is in a relationship with her baby daddy but isn’t ready to reveal his identity to the world.
“Honestly, we were both in shock,” she admitted, “but he has been incredible.”
The former Rhoslc star revealed they weren’t trying for kids, and she learned of her pregnancy three weeks ago after going to urgent care for “something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong.”
Monica Garcia was stunned by her pregnancy

With Monica Garcia out of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the cast is preparing to move on.
Lisa Barlow, who has been with the Bravo reality series since its 2020 premiere, is speaking out about the decision to part ways with her controversial co-star.
The self-proclaimed Queen of Sundance believes Bravo made the right call by not inviting Garcia back after news broke of her association with a social media account that bullied cast members.
In an interview with US Weekly, Barlow said these decisions were above her pay grade but was relieved because she felt she was building a relationship based on a lie.
Barlow cited “trust” as one of the factors in not being able to move forward with Garcia.
In the aftermath, Barlow feels it’s a good decision to move forward and wishes everyone well.

Monica Garcia is exiting The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after one season.
The Bravo reality star found herself at odds with her co-stars when it was revealed she was behind an Instagram fan account that trolled her fellow housewives.
Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer on the show, explained the reasons for why producers opted to put Garcia on pause.
“The news is out that we are going to have a cooling-off period,” Cohen said on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live.
He continued, “I think the reunion is the chance to come out [and] say why you did what you did on the season. It’s the Supreme Court of public opinion. And so Monica had the opportunity, not only to explain herself to the audience but way more importantly, in this case, to the other women. And I don’t think she successfully swayed any of them to her side.

Monica Garcia’s time on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is over.
Rumors swirled Tuesday afternoon that the controversial reality TV star had been let go by the Bravo series, and now, the news is official.
People and several other outlets confirmed the news hours before the hit series’ reunion concluded.
Many fans saw Garcia as the show’s savior after many believed it would cease to exist following the departure of Jen Shah last year.
But there’s much skepticism about whether Garcia’s exit will last long.
The mother of four joined the series this season and made waves with her co-stars pretty quickly.

Spoiler Alert: This recap contains spoilers for Part 1 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s” reunion episodes, now airing on Bravo, and streaming on Peacock on Jan. 10.
Decked out in a set that was part Bermuda Triangle and part Utah snow storm, the cast of “The Real Housewives Salt Lake City” — Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas — convened to take stock of the show’s fourth season, and to face off with the newly minted reality TV supervillain Monica Garcia.
For the first time since the big-beach reveal in the Jan. 2 finale, the women were reunited for the hotly anticipated three-part reunion. In that masterful final episode, Heather Gay collected the original “Rhoslc” four together on the Bermuda shore to inform them all that Monica Garcia was not their friend, but rather, a key co-conspirator behind the Instagram and Twitter accounts Reality Von Tease.

Earlier this year, I vented my frustrations about how The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was no longer Bravo's diamond in the rough.
With the legal woes of Jen Shah taking up all of the screentime, the series had become a shell of its former self.
In one of the biggest surprises in reality TV history, the series managed to recalibrate following Shah's departure.
Jen thrived off being the center of attention, and her presence had a halo effect through every storyline in the first three seasons, leading many to believe the show would sink further into oblivion.
12 episodes into The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4, I can confidently say it's the strongest season yet -- and one of the best seasons of Real Housewives. Ever.

BravoCon 2023 brought the drama during the gathering of reality TV’s biggest stars, held at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas Nov. 3-5. “Vanderpump Rules” star Tom Sandoval, who was booed consistently every time he answered a question at the fan event, got into a push-up battle with co-star James Kennedy. The “Scandoval” participant was part of the “Vanderpump Rules” panel at BravoCon, which kicked off its first day programming on Friday.
Tears were also shed by “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais. Richards broke down after she was asked about her marriage to husband Mauricio Umansky, which has fallen under scrutiny since the couple separated earlier this year. Garcelle Beauvais also teared up taking about her relationship with her son Jax.

Heather Gay is addressing her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-star Mary Cosby‘s recent comment about her body.
On Tuesday night (October 10), Mary, 50, appeared on Watch What Happens Live where she played a game of “Versace or Hibachi” with host Andy Cohen.
During the game, Mary and fellow guest Ziwe Fumudoh were asked to judge several different Housewives fashion moments.
As they played, an image of Heather, 49, wearing a Gucci corset appeared on screen and Mary blurted out, “I don’t think Gucci makes that.”
Keep reading to find out more…
When Andy, 55, asked if Mary thought the corset was “fake,” she replied, “I do. I’ve never seen a corsquette [sic] in, like, a size 14. Have you?”
A visibly uncomfortable Andy said that he hasn’t “looked” into it, but did note that he “love[s]” the top.
Before moving on, Mary maintained that it was her “opinion, even if it’s not right.

If there's a buzzword associated with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4, it's "fresh start." After years of living under the dark cloud of Jen Shah's arrest and trial (which culminated in a guilty plea and a nearly six-year prison sentence), the women are attempting to move on from their fraudulent frenemy and all the messiness of the past few years, from Lisa Barlow's "garbage whore" audio to Heather Gay's mysterious black eye. In the show's largest cast shakeup yet, Angie Katsanevas and Monica Garcia have joined the original group — Lisa, Heather, Meredith Marks, and Whitney Rose — as new Housewives. Though Angie has personal history with the ladies as a former "friend," Monica vows to "make [her] own assumptions" about her co-stars, despite knowing "all their dark secrets" thanks to her previous relationship with Jen.

That was my immediate response after watching the trailer for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4.

There’s something about Mary Cosby!
The outspoken church leader, who was an original cast member on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” is back as a “friend” for Season 4, the just-released trailer reveals.
“Here I am,” Cosby declares as she enters her costar Meredith Marks’ boutique. “Somebody farted!” she later observes.
Cosby exited the show after not attending the Season 2 reunion. She had been criticized for making racist comments towards her then-costars Jen Shah (who is currently serving a 6.5 year prison sentence after pleading guilty to committing wire fraud) and Jennie Nguyen, which she later apologized for.
Cosby joins full-time and returning housewives Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose. Angie Katsanevas, who was a “friend” in Season 3, has been promoted to full-time status, and Monica Garcia joins the cast as the newest snowflake holder.
Newcomer Garcia reveals that like Gay, she was excommunicated from the Mormon Church.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will reportedly get a season 4, but there is sure to be a cast shakeup. We already know for sure that Jen Shah won’t be back, and rumors have been swirling that no one in the cast is safe from getting the ax other than Lisa Barlow. According to executive producer Andy Cohen, he’s “feeling good” about Rhoslc Season 4 and claims to “have excellent casting” in the works. While star Whitney Rose teases that “old faces” could return.

Part one of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 reunion aired on Jan. 25 and it did not disappoint. Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, and Whitney Rose were all present for the reunion. Angie Harrington, Angie Katsanevas, and Danna Bui-Negrete also made an appearance. Here are the shadiest moments from part one of the Rhoslc Season 3 reunion.
Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Andy Cohen, Whitney Rose, and Lisa Barlow | Charles Sykes/Bravo Jen Shah’s trial prevented her from being part of the ‘Rhoslc’ reunion
If you’re wondering where Jen Shah was, she skipped out on the reunion because her sentencing had yet to be decided. Jen was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. She later pled guilty was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison on Jan. 6, 2023.

TheWrap caught up with Lisa Barlow in Park City ahead of Wednesday’s “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” reunion.
The Queen of Sundance had plenty of thoughts about the Season 3 ender, where Barlow will appear alongside Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose and Heather Gay. One castmate that won’t be at the reunion is Jen Shah, who chose not to attend after being sentenced earlier this month to 6.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to defrauding hundreds of people via a telemarketing scheme.
There were reports that Shah would get a solo sitdown with reunion host Andy Cohen, but those reports were shot down by Shah in an Instagram post.
“I will not be doing the 1:1 with Andy Cohen or Bravo because of their unwillingness to remove contractual provisions that would allow the network to legally make misrepresentations of me and my story, relating to any and all topics,...

After one of the most bizarre seasons in Real Housewives history, fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are preparing for a major shakeup.
Jen Shah's legal drama dominated the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3, and with Jen headed to prison for 6.5 years, the series needs to adapt.
Page Six reported over the weekend that the series is looking to recast three housewives ahead of Season 4.
"They held auditions in the fall," a source close to production shared.
"They were looking to replace three of them."
"They hadn't decided if some of the 'friends of' would be promoted or if they'd find new talent."
As of this weekend, original stars Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, and Whitney Rose are all listed as "safe" heading into Season 4.
However, that could change.
The reason producers are shaking up the series is because of how "dark" the series has become.

The Real Housewives franchise has been around since 2006.
What started as one hour-long show has become one of the biggest franchises in the world.
Somewhere along the way, the formula of different cities started to grow stale -- until The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (Rhoslc) burst onto the scene in 2020.
Armed with a dynamic cast that delivered drama weekly, it was a fresh take that ushered us into a very different era of the franchise.
Unfortunately, it has gone so far off the rails during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 that it's hard to imagine the show recapturing its former glory.
Rhoslc was destined for doom when its resident pot-stirrer Jen Shah pleaded guilty to one count of fraud ahead of the season premiere.
In the promotional material lauding the September 2022 premiere, Shah feigned innocence to the allegations against her.
As a result, the season...

There’s a snowstorm coming to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 3 as the midseason trailer drops, which you can watch in the video posted above.
Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Jen Shah and Heather Gay have a lot more drama coming their way and the preview of what’s still to come on the Bravo reality series is intense.
The animosity between real-life cousins Rose and Gay continues as they star in a new screaming match. One of the mysteries of the season will finally be solved as viewers will get to see how Gay got a black eye. An infrared camera set up in Gay’s room seemingly captures the moment where it’s revealed what happened to her eye.
Setting out for a trip to San Diego, California, the housewives bring on the drama when Marks reveals she got a private message on social media about Barlow’s company.

A snowstorm of drama is headed to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The Bravo series' season three trailer teased several dramatic moments in store for returning Housewives Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose and Jen Shah, as well as new "friends of" Angie Harrington, Angie Katsanevas and Danna Bui-Negrete. One such moment includes Heather appearing with a black eye and implying one of her co-stars is responsible for it. And while that is sure to be a big storyline, the season's main drama will likely revolve around Jen's federal fraud case. However, we already know how that story ends. A week before her case was set to go to trial, Jen...

The cold open of the Sept. 28 Season 3 premiere of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” featured at the bottom of this post harks back to a more innocent time for the Bravo cast members — before it then reveals how their lives and friendships have exploded during the show’s run.
The scene begins in December 2019 with the first confessionals the women filmed for the show’s freshman season, as they introduce themselves, and present their relationships to other cast members. Jen Shah — who in July of this year pleaded guilty to criminal fraud charges, and will be sentenced (likely to prison) in November — attempts to explain her job, which she calls “direct response marketing.” As the audience now knows, Shah was in fact — as she’s now admitted — a high-up figure in a telemarketing scheme that defrauded tons of (often elderly) people. She was arrested during the filming of Season 2, practically on camera.

"I'm innocent!" That's what Jen Shah declares in E! News' exclusive first look at The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season three. Returning Housewives Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose and Jen will be joined by Rhoslc newcomers and "friends of" Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Harrington and Angie Katsanevas for what looks like one helluva bumpy ride (and we're not talking about the ski slopes). For starters, Jen's legal troubles with the FBI continue, but she's placing the blame on her former assistant Stuart Smith, who plead guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud last year in connection...
