- Primarily known for the song "Little Arrows," which reached #2 on the British charts in 1968, he is lesser known for the three years in prison to which he was sentenced after he and actor Alan Lake were involved in a brawl in a pub in London's West End theater district in July of 1970, during which Leapy knifed the owner. Lake, expecting a suspended sentence, got 18 months, which cut short his part in the successful run of the play "Three Months Gone," in which he was co-starring with his wife, actress Diana Dors.
