Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which is another stacked 10-match card And a live audience thanks to being taped in DC… On with the review!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Alec Odin
My Thoughts: Two matches in a row for Archer, this was even more of a squash than his Elevation match this week! Odin did get a move or two in but this was very much Archer’s match.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Penelope Ford, Serena Deeb and Jamie Hayter def. Jordan Blade, Trish Adora and Brittany Blake
My Thoughts: I was totally surprised to see that this match Wasn’T a squash – as it certainly looked like it would be on paper. Thankfully this instead was a well-fought, competitive match – one that really showcased the trio of heels to perfection.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #3: Hikaru Shida def. Marina Shafir
My Thoughts: Well colour me shocked!

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which this week features seven matches and a number of big-name stars! We’ve got Ian Riccaboni, Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, so let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Hikaru Shida def. Erica Leigh
My Thoughts: Straight out of the gate, we’ve got a typical Aew quasi-squash match, with Shida not Totally demolishing and embarrassing her opponent here but still being in control of this match entirely. A quick sub-three minute match to kick off this week’s show!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Lance Archer def. Papadon
My Thoughts: And we get a re-run of the previous match here… only from the male perspective! Papadon got in quite a bit of offence but there was no way any of it was going to have any real impact on Archer…
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Emi Sakura def.

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, we’ve got Tony Schiavone, Paul Wight, and Mark Henry on commentary and eight matches to cover. So let’s get right into the action and this review!
Match #1: Leyla Hirsch def. Brittany Blake
My Thoughts: Always glad to see Leyla Hirsch in a match, no matter the show. Here she takes on Brittany Blake, making her Aew debut, in a match that saw Hirsch feel more like a babyface than the heel she’s being pushed as in her feud with Kris Statlander. Not that she didn’t have a mean streak here – as she always does =- but it felt like commentary were behind her rather than Blake, who should have been this matches babyface.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Private Party def. Action Andretti and Myles Hawkins
My Thoughts: This was a typical Aew quasi-squash match,...
