Back in 2006-2007 Ohio Valley Wrestling was the developmental territory for World Wrestling Entertainment. They had a plethora of great talent that unfortunately never got called up to the big leagues. Why? I don’t know. They seemed to posses a lot of attributes that the WWE looks for. Some of these men actually got called up and were used very disappointingly.
I always wonder what happens with the developmental territories the WWE has had over the past few years. Why do they call up certain people when it is clear that there are better wrestlers than them? Why call up people if you just plan to not use them. Take for instance Eric Escobar. He had been employed by the WWE since 2005 and they finally called him up in 2009. He was on TV for maybe two-three months? And then they fired him.
Another example is Hade Vansen. He had...

In the past fifty years, multiple things have changed in the world. Hi-tech phones, cars, gadgets and more have evolved, fashion has considerably improved, and education and other facilities all around the world have become excellent. However, there’s one more thing which became mainstream in the last fifty years, and that’s none other than the sport we all truly adore, professional wrestling. Wrestling has truly expanded in the last fifty years, and the WWE has been working really hard to advance in the field of wrestling, which they have done easily.

Via the PrepShootPost blog comes news of the Panasonic new Lumix Dmc-GH1, which is the latest in the new still cameras that have great video recording capabilities. From the blog's Eric Escobar: Pretty awesome next generation Hdslr hybrid still/ video camera from Panasonic (f' yeah Panasonic!). Shoots 1080P/24 and 720P/60, if it's priced like it's predecessor expect it to be for around Us$1200 with a standard zoom lens. And it's got way more options for manual controls in video mode than the Canon or the Nikon. Click to his blog post for an update with a few relevant details (like the fact that the camera writes its files as 60i). Panasonic's press release is here, and the original Engadget post is here. From Engadget: Not even a...

At his Prep Shoot Post blog, filmmaker Eric Escobar links to a free primer he's created on desktop color correction. If you've read the new Filmmaker, you'll remember that director Barry Jenkins and d.p. James Laxton created Medicine for Melancholy's distinctive, desaturated but with splashes of color look by timing the film themselves using Apple's Color on Final Cut. Escobar's video tutorial...
