Candice Liang, Chinese, a multi-lingual island girl from Honolulu, Hawaii. She is studying at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in New York City. Before moving to NYC she was working on her Ph.D. program in Psychology hoping to bring light to people's lives revolutionizing mental well-being, while teaching undergrads as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Washington, D.C. and National University of Singapore.
Candice has made a lot of interesting life decisions that have led her to this point with Naked and Afraid of Love. Candice is a title holder of Miss Aloha State 2016, Miss Bikini Hawaii USA 2017, IJM Miss Hawaii 2017, Miss Ocean 2018 and Miss Great Aloha Run USA 2019. Additionally, she has previously worked for the Olympics from a very young age, as an advocate and Youth Representative at United Nations for SDGs and humanitarian assistance. She has helped facilitate and provide opportunities for young generations with various NGOs; also served as an international volunteer, a humanitarian aid while teaching English in Sri Lanka.
Candice enjoys singing, dancing, playing the piano, spending quality time with family, traveling, exploring different cultures and eating great food, meanwhile advocating causes that are close to her heart.
A self-described 'dreamer and peace-maker,' Candice credits her life-changing experience in the Philippines for bringing out her wild and free spirit while learning how to truly love and embrace the vulnerable, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird but honest, real and magical self. She hopes to make a difference and leave a positive impact on the world while sharing her love and aloha spirit everywhere she goes.
