Music producer Starsmith has admitted that he ‘really enjoyed’ working on Cheryl Cole’s second solo album.
The musician has previously worked with Ellie Goulding, Diana Vickers and Kylie Minogue and told X that he wrote a song with a ’90s house feel’ for the ‘techno album.’
22 year old Starsmith (real name Finlay Dow-Smith) said:
“I can’t tell you the name of it, but the song I wrote has a ’90s house feel. It’s fun and makes you want to get up and dance on the table.
“They told me the type of thing they wanted and we did it, because obviously you can’t have an R&B song on a techno album.”
He added:
“We really enjoyed making it. We got to the point where it was like, ‘If Cheryl doesn’t like it, it doesn’t matter’, because we were having so much fun with it.

Rap star Dizzee Rascal has revealed that he is to release a collaboration with former X Factor contestant Daniel Pearce.
The singer got to judges houses on the 2009 series and was also one of the winning boys on Popstars: The Rivals, when he became a member of boy band One True Voice.
Pearce sang on Rascal’s latest single ‘Dirtee Disco’, which Dizzee releases on 24th May.
“He did backing vocals for me once then he stepped forward to do Dance Wiv Me and Holiday,” Rascal told the BBC. “I heard him and thought I needed a vocalist for the next track – that’s how that happened.”
“It’s just like a massive party record, massive summer tune. It does what it says on the tin.”

Former One True Voice singer Keith Semple successfully tried out for American Idol's auditions in Chicago last year. The musician was a member of the boyband created by ITV's Popstars: The Rivals, a show which also spawned Girls Aloud in 2002. While the girl group went on to enjoy a successful music career, One True Voice split after just seven months and two singles. Semple, who is now living in the Us, performed Bryan Adams's 'Heaven' for the Idol judging panel - including guest (more)...

Hey, fellow American Idol fans! Want to hear more from last night's Chicago auditioners? Well, you're in luck! We've scoured the Web and found previously recorded music by some of the musicians, as well as some interesting background information about one blink-and-you-missed-him hopeful. Without further ado... Keith Semple: Sadly, a Fox spokesperson confirms that Semple did not attend Hollywood Week due to Visa issues. He was featured very briefly on tonight’s American Idol, but all you UK reality TV fans may recognise Keith Semple from one of our very own TV talent shows.
Keith was one of the winners on ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 and went on to form a group called One True Voice with his fellow male winners. The band crashed and burned and Keith now sings and plays guitar for Chicago-based band 7th Heaven.
Keith got a golden ticket from the Idol judges after he sang Bryan Adams ‘Heaven’, unfortunately problems with his visa prevented him from progressing on the show and he was forced to leave the competition.
“It was a huge disappointment,” Keith told the Chicago Sun-Times Tuesday. ”But that’s just the way it is. . . . I’m happy I’m with a great band, and I’m only looking forward.”
