Charlie G. Hawkins would love to return to 'EastEnders' in the future to reunite with his character's son. The 20-year-old actor has decided to depart the BBC One soap after eight years playing wheeler-dealer car salesman Darren Miller but hasn't ruled out a return because Darren's baby George will remain in Walford with his mother Heather Trott. He said: "It's nice that I can always come back because obviously there's still Heather's and Darren's baby so I still have that link to the square because otherwise I don't actually have any family left in Walford. "In the future if George is...

Rick Springfield Busted for DUI
Former General Hospital star and '80s rocker Rick Springfield ("Jessie's Girl") was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk in Los Angeles last night TMZ has learned.
According to law enforcement, the 61-year-old singer was pulled over by the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. around 8:00 Pm for a traffic violation. When officers approached the vehicle, they noticed the smell of booze and asked Springfield to perform several field sobriety tests.
Springfield performed poorly on the sobriety tests -- and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Law enforcement sources tell us Rick's blood alcohol content was measured at .10 and .08. The legal limit in California is .08.
Springfield was taken to a nearby jail -- where he was booked and eventually released on $5,000 bail.

Hattie Jacques, the young lodger, and poor John Le Mesurier – what a Carry On
Mary Portas: Secret Shopper - were we left short-changed?
What do you do when you walk into your own bedroom to find your wife in the sack with the lodger? Well, obviously you pull him off (no, not like that!), beat the crap out of him and toss him out into the street, whimpering and naked. Then you storm out, find someone younger and more attractive than your wife, and jump into bed with her, in order to restore some self-esteem.
Poor John Le Mesurier, played by Robert Bathurst in Hattie (BBC4), does pretty much the opposite. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry," he stammers, when he finds his wife Hattie Jacques Carrying On with her handsome young driver. He probably knew about it already, but had been trying – like a child with his eyes squeezed tightly...

Forget what you think you know about this movie. And forget what you think you know about Robert Pattinson. This film is far more than a love story. Plus, Pattinson’s acting abilities are better than the one particular role he’s known for playing.
Go into this movie with an open mind, and what you’ll find is an engaging film that is simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming. The story and actors swirl together like a perfect cup of coffee with just the right amount of cream and sugar. The subtle sweetness cuts the underlying bitterness. By Susan Granger - Astute minds are guiding Robert Pattinson.s career. Segueing from his vampire role in the "Twilight" franchise, he.s transitioned into tortured, misunderstood young man mode.
In the summer of 2001, moody, rebellious Tyler Hawkins (Pattinson) is still haunted by the fact that his idolized older brother committed suicide on his 22nd birthday, a tragedy that split his wealthy Park Avenue family. While Tyler has reached an understanding with his now re-married mother, Diane Hirsch (Lena Olin), and adores his 11 year-old sister Caroline (Ruby Jerins), he.s still at odds with his frosty, Wall Street lawyer father, Charles Hawkins (Pierce Brosnan). In fact, 21 year-old Tyler.s only friend seems to be his loud, obnoxious, thoroughly irritating roommate, Aiden (Tate Ellington).

Remember Me
Directed by: Allen Coulter
Cast: Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper
Running Time: 1 hr 53 mins
Rating: PG-13
Release Date: March 12, 2010
Plot: Years after the death of his older brother, Tyler Hawkins (Pattinson) has lost all motivation to actively participate in his own life. One night, Tyler is arrested for a bar fight by Sgt. Neil Craig (Cooper) and in order to get back at the cop, Tyler decides to romance Craig’s daughter, Ally (Ravin). That summation is as close as I can come to encapsulating this movie, which is surprisingly complex.
Who’S It For? Of course all those RPatz freaks out there will flock to see the movie just to reaffirm what they already knew: he can actually act outside of Twilight. But Remember Me is so artistic in its graceful melancholy, that the film should also appeal to “serious” film connoisseurs.
Expectations: Looowwwwww.

The dashing Pierce Brosnan stars as Charles Hawkins, father of Tyler (Robert Pattinson) and the source of his resentment. I interviewed Brosnan back-to-back for "The Ghost Writer" and "Remember Me."
In this interview, Brosnan revealed:
*** Why he has lots of respect for Pattinson
*** He will Never star in a James Bond movie ever again!
*** What he wants viewers to take away after watching "Remember Me"
Have fun!

Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City, has a strained relationship with his father ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn't think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through until the day he met Ally through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her.

Confession Time . I was never a fan of Robert Pattinson. I am basing that assessment on the actor.s most famous role to date, the lovelorn vampire Edward in the .Twilight. films. I thought he delivered wooden performances in both movies.
But after watching Pattinson in the new film .Remember Me,. I can now honestly say, I.m intrigued by this actor. He carried the movie from its shaky start to its heart wrenching conclusion.
Unlike his .Twilight. co-star, Taylor Lautner, Pattinson is making brave career choices. While Lautner will soon be busy working on standard thrillers like .Abduction. or sure-fire blockbusters like .Stretch Armstrong,. Pattinson will bury himself in art-house films like .Bel Ami. and ..Water for Elephants..
Taking a cue from Johnny Depp, Pattinson peppers his resume with iconic roles such as Edward, and memorable characters like the one he played in .Remember Me.. He stars as Tyler,...
