Jak Velinsky is an Actor, Writer, and Director who has just graduated in Film Production (BA) at the University of Lincoln, UK. He has also studied in the US, at Minnesota State Moorhead University, Minnesota. He was born in Nottingham on the 12th of September 2001. He went to Colonel Franke Seely secondary school, as well as Colonel Frank Seely sixth form where he studied English Literature, History, and Physical Education. Jak began his film career at the University of Lincoln in 2020 during the pandemic, without any experience in the film industry. Since then, he has acted or directed in over twenty projects with many of them winning awards, either in the USA or the UK.
Jak took an interest in acting during his first year at university and gained experience through student short films, and directing his own. He also enjoyed working in many different crew roles, enjoying directing, writing, and producing. He has gone on to direct many short films, writing his own feature script and Co-Producing / working as an AD, for 'Cancelled' the feature film written and directed by Scott Driver. He has also acted in many projects in the UK and USA.
