Florian Dedio wrote, directed, and edited his first feature film
"Luckily For Me" while in high school in his native Germany. The film
premiered in January 2001 and, after stirring up a lot of controversy,
received a state government award for violence prevention.
He went on to study screenwriting at Vancouver Film School, graduating in 2001. Since 2004, he has been working as head of development for LOOKS Medienproduktionen GmbH in Rostock, Germany, in a variety of positions ranging from research to author to associate producer.
