Alright, “Black Mirror” fans, it’s high time we get to the bottom of this whole “Bandersnatch” mystery. Well, as much as we possibly can before the eagerly-anticipated movie drops on Netflix on Friday.
Widely expected to be the “Choose Your Own Adventure”-style “Black Mirror” we’ve been waiting for, the standalone film installment of the Charlie Brooker-created anthology series finally got a trailer in the wee small hours of Thursday that offered a few answers and left us with even more questions, like who or what is Bandersnatch?
The 1-minute, 40-second video reveals that, within the “Black Mirror” universe, “Bandersnatch” is a fantasy novel by an author named Jerome F. Davies who, we’re told, “went cuckoo and cut his wife’s head off.”

Overview | It's episode three and we were finally introduced to who the producers say will be the main villain for the first half of "Beware the Batman." Anarky, voiced by Wallace Langham, is an interesting choice. A little known character from the Bat-books, his depiction here was actually pretty close to past incarnations of the character. Having watched countless animated programs, I know what geeky/gamer character sounds like and that's definitely what we have in Anarky. We aren't quite told what the character's motivations are but his name pretty much spells it out. It will be interesting to see what the "White King" has in store for the "Black King" moving forward and if the character is indeed 100% Lonnie Machin, or a mixture of Machin and Ulysses Armstrong. While Anarky had a solid debut, I found the sidestory with Tatsu and her test administered at...

Last month we ran an excerpt from The Wind Through the Keyhole provided by publisher Donald M. Grant. Today, Simon & Schuster released their own excerpt which contains additional text.
Stephen King’s latest book in The Dark Tower series will be released on April 24th. The Wind Through the Keyhole features Roland Deschain in his early days and is said to bridge the gap between books 4 and 5.
—
Foreword
Most of the people holding this book have followed the adventures of Roland and his band—his ka-tet—for years, some of them from the very beginning. Others—and I hope there are many, newcomers and Constant Readers alike—may ask, Can I read and enjoy this story if I haven’t read the other Dark Tower books? My answer is yes, if you keep a few things in mind.
First, Mid-World lies next to our world, and there are many overlaps.

We decided to start our little research of immortal young lady Alice in Wonderland, that still, after exactly 145 years, has a power to inspire directors all over the world.
You all guess that the main reason for this certainly is the latest, Tim Burton’s new incarnation of this story.
But let’s start from a beginning. We were all young, we all liked fairy-tales (well, some of us still do), and enjoyed so many characters, we all had our special heroes. Then, what’s so magical about this story, when it still manages to stay on the top of the list?
Ok, we all know the facts, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is written by the English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, who used a pseudonym Lewis Carroll. The story tells what happens to a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit-hole into a fantasy world which is populated...

The Unofficial List Of Important Films Of The Decade by ArtMattan Productions
Happy New Year! Here at ArtMattan Productions, we are very happy to celebrate a new decade with more challenges ahead and we are sure plenty of new emotions.
The past decade was turbulent and brought many important moments to our lives and our activities in the film industry. Just over the last two years, we released Gospel Hill, Youssou N’Dour: Return to Gorée, Maria Bethania: Music is Perfume and the controversial Made in Jamaica. Music was the thing here at ArtMattan Productions headquarters.
Theatrical releases of Independent and Foreign Language films were many and diverse all over the country, with some more exciting than others. As some companies folded, other started and the turbulence in the field was intense and sometimes very emotional.
For ArtMattan Productions, it was business as usual. Getting to release a film in theaters was a nightmare,...

There is a certain miraculous effect in the world of movies and television. Somehow, when a certain TV show or film is bad enough, it circles back around, becoming good. It’s the same scientific principle that draws gawkers to circus sideshows; we can’t believe something so ridiculous could possibly exist, we must see it with our own eyes. In my review of the first half of the “Alice” miniseries, I ranted against the low-quality stigma of the SyFy brand, but after some meditation, I’d like to amend my previous stance. While atrocious, laughable and just plain bad, SyFy’s productions do have a certain place of honor in the world of cinema. They may not be noteworthy, but with the right approach, they can be enjoyable (alcohol certainly helps). And one thing’s for certain, a movie like “Mansquito” may be insipid and insulting, but couldn’t possibly be boring.
