While Berserk may not be something that has the same appeal as its fellow manga and anime series such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, or Sailor Moon. However, there is no denying that the series has survived the test of time, establishing itself as one of the greatest manga to be ever written. Therefore, it can be proclaimed Kentaro Miura’s magnum opus has greatly contributed to pop culture, with its dark atmosphere and an outstanding antihero.
Guts in Berserk manga
While Kentaro Miura’s manga stands tall as a towering achievement in the world of manga, delving deep into the complex themes of power, philosophical concepts, and the darkness present within us all. While one might believe that the mangaka artist would have a serious source of recreation, that was not the case as he used to find joy in playing girl games when he was not crammed in his workspace.

Famous for its surreal genre-mashing and cross-gender casting, “Summer Vacation 1999”'s (1988) cultish elements recall the beginnings of shonen-ai (boy's love), one of many queercoded creative spaces that have been veiled for heterosexual enjoyment. Before our time of identity politics and labels, representations of gender and sexual fluidity wove itself into existence by sheer will and unquenchable desire. Today, in the restored catalogs of festivals such as Queer East, we look back in celebration, but also with a mixed sense of wonder, empathy and relief. In Shusuke Kaneko's futurist romantic-mystery, three boys reel from the return of their supposed-dead schoolmate to their countryside boarding school, igniting tensions and unrequited desires. “Summer Vacation 1999” breathes life into a depiction of queer spaces as innocent, fleeting and beautiful, forever scarred into memory.

Yoshihiro Togashi is one of the most well-known manga artists of all time. He is known for his work in the hugely popular series in the shonen genre, Hunter x Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho. Both of his works became classics in the manga as well as anime industry.
Many other popular manga artists, such as Gege Akutamu, the man behind Jujutsu Kaisen, have mentioned Yoshihiro Togashi as an inspiration for their own works. In fact, the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, even mentioned the amount of ideas and themes presented in Togashi’s works is truly exceptional.
Killua in Hunter x Hunter
Togashi is known worldwide for his Hunter x Hunter series, which has been continuously interrupted with multiple hiatuses due to various reasons, including his health condition. Even though Togashi sensei has not been in the public eye a lot, he has maintained a loyal following of fans.

Yoshihiro Togashi, the man behind Hunter x Hunter, has another popular manga under his belt. In the 1990s, his Yu Yu Hakusho became one of the top sellers of Shonen Jump. In the late 1990s, he began the serialization of Hunter x Hunter, which later became one of the top-rated anime of all time. But initially, he had thought of a different plot instead of the mentioned anime.
Yoshihiro Togashi’s idea of a battle manga clicked with Yu Yu Hakusho. After Yu Yu Hakusho, he wanted to continue with his hot streak. So, had to give it a real thought and had to do some studies before finalising the work. Even though the fans got another great story in Hunter x Hunter, Yoshihiro Togashi shared how he came to stick to the story.

It's always hard to say goodbye to a show you've grown to love. It's even harder to imagine a television superteam landscape without the unpredictable, over-the-top, completely unapologetic hijinks of the Doom Patrol.
After three and a half seasons of flatulent donkeys, time travel, interdimensional shenanigans, sex ghosts, puppets, and freakin' were-butts, our misfit superbeings are wrapping up their adventures and facing off against their greatest challenge yet -- old age. Oh, and someone called Immortus.
Doom Patrol Season 4 returns on Max on October 12 with a double-decker wallop of a premiere. I'd recommend you prepare yourself, but there's really no way to prepare for what's coming.
When last we left our intrepid team, Rita, Jane, and Larry had lost their longevity. Rouge and Rita had returned to the Ant Farm and learned that Wally Sage was the puppetmaster behind the rise of Immortus.
Meanwhile, Cliff, Jane, Vic, and Vic's childhood bestie,...

On the occasion of the Europe Premiere of his debut film “Ice Cream Fever” at Japannual Film Festival, we sat down with director Tetsuya Chihara and producer Kazuyuki Kitaki to talk about handbags, big corporate cinema, and female empowerment.
Let’s start at the beginning. Can you explain the intro opening titles? On the screen, there is written: „This is not a film“. What does it mean?
My background is in graphic design. At my company „Lemon Life“ we internalized the motto „This is not design“. We use this as a mindset to go beyond the existing patterns and create something new. Like a kind of neverending search for perfection, to stay hungry for the next level. I took inspiration from a Belgian fashion brand called „Delvaux“. Already 140 years ago they wrote „This is not a Delvaux Bag“ on their bags. I shot my film with this idea in my head,...

New York, July 8 (Ians) Scientists have designed an artificial intelligence(AI)-based tool that can rapidly decode a brain tumour’s DNA to determine its molecular identity during surgery, guiding surgical and treatment decisions.
Knowing a tumour’s molecular type can enable neurosurgeons to make decisions such as how much brain tissue to remove and whether to place tumour-killing drugs directly into the brain — while the patient is still on the operating table.
Under the current approach, it can take a few days and up to a few weeks. Removing too much when the tumour is less aggressive can affect a patient’s neurologic and cognitive function.
Likewise, removing too little when the tumour is highly aggressive may leave behind malignant tissue that can grow and spread quickly.
“Right now, even state-of-the-art clinical practice cannot profile tumours molecularly during surgery. Our tool overcomes this challenge by extracting thus-far untapped biomedical signals from frozen pathology slides,...

Stars: Jackie Chan, Andy On, Liu Haocun, Kevin Guo, Xing Yu | Written and Directed by Larry Yang
Jackie Chan’s latest film, Ride On, is a long way from what most of us have come to expect from its star. Rather than an all-out action film mixing lots of fight scenes and physical comedy, this has been dubbed an“action dramedy” by its makers. Those makers include writer/director Larry Yang, known for dramas such as Adoring and Sorry I Love You. This is another way of saying it’s a serious film about family and the choices we make in life with some fight scenes and the occasional joke about getting a faceful of horse farts.
Lao Luo is a stuntman who has seen better days. He scrapes by these days working as an extra or posing for pictures with his stunt horse Red Hare. In an eventful few hours,...
