Rebecca Elmire Tremblay (she/her) is an East Coast storyteller, filmmaker and actress known for Stephen King's The Last Rung on the Ladder (2024), Good Mom (2023) and HUM (CBC, 2023). She is the recipient of 3 filmmaking awards (Telefilm Canada, CBC, Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund) to write and direct her own films. She's acted in 25+ commercials, 10 films and 5 series, both in English and French, including campaigns for broadcast in the United States.
Her latest short film, HUM, which she wrote, directed and produced, was selected to be part of the Reel East Coast series, available on CBC Gem, and it took home two awards at the 2023 Silver Wave Film Festival. Rebecca owns and operates the production company, By Odin's Beard Pictures and is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Rebecca has trained under R.H. Thomson (ARC Academy, Saint John), Nancy Ma & Eric B. Anthony (The BGB Studio, Los Angeles) and Natalie Roy (The Activated Actor Immersive, New York City) among others. She is a versatile actress whose range includes comedy, drama and thriller.
