Molly Moriarty

Molly Ayawa Moriarty is a Sydney, Australian born Actress. She is African Australian, her father is Ghanaian and mother Australian. Molly started acting at the age of 5 with her first on-screen appearance being in the Australian production of 'The Secret Life of 4 and 5 Years Old's, which aired in Australia and still airing Internationally.
Molly first major role was in the US Netflix series 'Cowboy Bebop', a live action series based on the popular Amine. Molly was cast as Kimmie Black and worked closely with Hollywood actors such as John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda and Director Michael Katleman.
Molly was cast in Marvel's Hollywood blockbuster THOR: Love and Thunder as the 'Asgardian Child' with her Bunny which was one of very few main cast child roles. Molly worked very closely with International A list actors such as Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and worked closely with Director Taika Waititi in many of her scenes, including several stunt scenes where she did her own stunts.
Molly has been cast in STAN's Christmas Ransom, Netflix's Heartbreak High, NBC's La Brea and is one of the main Child Presenters for Australia's ABC Studios new TV Series - Gardening Australia Junior, which is now airing Australia wide.
Molly also worked in the 2023 production of FENCES by August Wilson at the prestigious and world renowned Sydney Theatre Company. Molly played Raynell, the only child cast member, in the 2023 season Directed by Shari Sebbens.
Molly has worked on many smaller projects with other world renowned Directors such as British Director Jake Scott from 'Ridley Scott Associates', Nash Edgerton and Adam Davidson. She has featured in many Australian and International commercials for major International and Domestic brands such as Amazon Web Services, A2 Milk, Mitsubishi Electric, Volkswagen, Woolworths and Big W.
Training weekly (online) with her well known Hollywood acting coach, Molly also trains in all genres of dance from ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatics. She has excelled in all these and dances in classes beyond her age level. Molly often performs with her performing arts school around Sydney.
Molly's love for the performing arts has also lead her to voice/singing coaching with a highly reputable Sydney Voice Studio. Molly is always on the look out to increase and gain further skills, both Domestic and Internationally and is excited about her future.
