It’s no secret that Drake is a massively successful rapper and Toronto Raptors super fan, but what’s he like as a father?
The answer to that question was provided by no less an authority that Drake’s son, Adonis Graham, when the two sat down for a father-son interview with Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley.
When Pressley asks Adonis — whom Drake shares with French artist Sophie Brussaux — if he knows how to read, the 5-year-old admits he does not.

“Do you think if he did a better job with you at home that you’d be able to read?” Pressley jokingly asks. “Yeah,” Adonis responds, but goes on to praise his dad’s sense of humour.
“[He’s] a funny dad,” Adonis says, noting that Drake “does a lot of funny jokes.”

Drake is urging Spotify to do better.
The rapper, who just became the first artist ever to surpass 75 billion streams on the popular music platform, wants to see a change in how musicians are rewarded for their achievements.
Instead of receiving shiny plaques, Drake says Spotify should give artists a pay cheque.
“We should get bonuses like athletes to motivate the future artists to be consistent and competitive,” he captioned a screenshot of the historic achievement, shared to his Instagram Story on Wednesday. “So feel free to send me a LeBron-sized [cheque]. I have enough dinner plates @spotify.”

Moody blue lights drench the audience at the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem. We’re in Drake’s bedroom. Or some version of it, at least. The musician born Aubrey Graham is seated on the edge of a neatly made bed, and a dim tulip-shaped lamp stands in the corner of the stage, designed as a replica of the teenage bedroom where he wrote his first songs. His outfit of baggy jeans and a yellow-and-blue basketball jersey complete the tableau. Number eleven, Degrassi High.

Drake fans with the extra cash to spend can own some of his earliest work through the Moments In Time auction, which will offer the notepad of lyrics to the highest bidder in the coming weeks.
The vintage lyrics include work from a song titled “Come Spring”, which appears to be the beginning of the hit that later became “Come Winter” from Drake’s debut mixtape “Room for Improvement”.

The Weeknd won a leading 10 awards at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, including the climactic top artist trophy presented as the climax of the night, followed by the late Pop Smoke with five, and BTS and Bad Bunny with four apiece.
Accepting one of several awards on-camera earlier in the evening, the Weeknd promised a change of stylistic pace to come in his future album and performance cycles. “The after hours are done and the dawn is coming,” he vowed. At another point, he made a joke after beginning with a slight show-of-religiosity fake-out. “I’d like to thank God… that I don’t have to wear that red suit anymore,” he said.
One of the performance highlights of the three-hour telecast was a pre-recorded music video — shot in the enormous Arcadia mall parking lot, with foothills and the racetrack in the background (despite host Nick Jonas’ promise that...

While word spread the day before the show that Drake’s three-year-old son Adonis would be in the audience to see his dad accept the Artist of the Decade award at the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, few expected the rapper to walk on stage with him.
Drake, clad in a dapper off-white suit with a heart sculpted into his hair, walked on stage holding hands with his son, whose hair was on cornrows, and immediately handed him the award (which was about one-third the tot’s height). The appearance was even more notable because photos of Adonis, let alone public appearances, have been rare.
The award was presented not by Rihanna or Lil Wayne or anyone globally famous, but by Drake’s family and tight-knit team. He walked on stage to accept the award after a video reeling off his many career accomplishments, which include 27 Billboard awards — 12 in 2019 alone.
