Jamila Jordan-Theus is an American film and TV producer. She is a two-time Emmy Award Winning Producer with over 15 years of entertainment industry experience and has developed and produced TV and film projects for Netflix, Disney Plus, CNN, TBS, OWN, FOX, YouTube Originals and more.
Jamila took part in the production of Ink Master, First Date and Best Shot. Today, Jamila is the Head of Motion Picture of Genius Entertainment. She has previously worked for many incredible companies including SpringHill Entertainment as a Creative Executive, Sirens Media as a Director of Development, Boardwalk Pictures as Story Producer, Endemol Shine Group as a Development Consultant, Michael Levitt Productions and more.
Jamila also oversees product development for large Hollywood firms. Jordan-Theus is the Head of Development and Production at TPH Entertainment. Jordan-Theus is also the Co-Founder of Outlier Society Productions. The production firm is heavily invested in advancing diversity in Hollywood.
Jamila graduated from Temple University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts (Broadcasting) majoring in Broadcasting, Communications and Mass Media. Jamila is the daughter of Michael A. Jordan and Donna Jordan, and the elder sister of brothers Michael B. Jordan and Khalid Jordan. Since 2017, Jamila is happily married to Reggie Theus, and has a son named Lenox Theus and a daughter named Zorah Theus. Jamila and her family reside in Los Angeles.
